Blur does'nt work in preview
There is an issue with the blur area in software simulations with Captivate 12.4. When viewing the preview, the blur area does not hide the element on which it was placed in the project. Same thing when changing the view for phone or tablet devices in the preview.

Slide Navigator Bug
The slide navigator in version 12.5 incorrectly shows half slides. To reproduce, I select a slide, go to audio and add an AI text to Speech with the Timeline showing. Then, I attempt to update the button on the timeline to show for the entire slide. Upon returning from this action the slide view shows only half the slide and a blank areas where the timeline shows. If you scroll the the slides up and down, the slides will correct themselves. See the screen shot with items in red. Other slides in purple look fine because I have not added…

TOC - Drag & Drop operation not working properly
The drag and drop features are not working correctly in the TOC. This is happening in 12.4 & 12.5. Create a larger project. Try dragging and dropping TOC items from the bottom of the TOC list to the top. The scroll does not work properly. If you scroll using the mouse wheel, the item you are trying to drop is lost from the drag operation. It seems you can only drop an item a few entries or else it drops in a random place or back in it's original position within the list.

BUG!
Assets panels again...
When using the Assets panel, if you use the search field to find a template and choose to insert it, it never stops loading.
Adobe Support has suggested scrolling down to find what you need, instead of searching for what you need. Not good enough. This bug needs to be fixed ASAP!
The new Adobe Captivate looks a lot like an unfinished product, puts Adobe's reputation at risk. I use other Adobe products since 1994 and have never seen anything so inconsistent.

The labels are not changing in my project when I change them under preferences
When I open quizzing labels under preferences, I am able to change the default labels to my desired statement. However, when I run a preview on the slide, the labels are back to the system default labels, not the statement I chose.

input field crashing
When I add an input field to a project and play it in Microsoft Edge, the Edge session closes and I lose the entire playback session.

Fix cross compatibility between Mac and Windows with button interaction
A file created on a Mac with buttons crashes when opened on a Windows pc and said button is clicked on then Interactions clicked on. V12.5 - repeatedly happens. Reported on two Windows machines.

Jump to bookmark with Overlay - Audio Issue
On my main slide, I added bookmarks (located after the slide audio). The bookmarks open an overlay slide with audio. If I jump to the first bookmark before the main slide audio is finished, the overlay opens and the overlay audio plays; however, the main slide audio also starts over and plays at the same time. If I wait for the main slide audio to end and jump to the first bookmark, it does not happen.
Note - it works fine in preview but not after publishing.

Add ability to change states of text block - not just the components within the block
It would be great if there was an option to change the state of a text block, not just the components within the block.
For example, I'd like the ability to change the text of the title subtitle, but I also want to be able to change the background color of the entire block based on an action of the user.

Enable more design features for the quiz slides
Currently if you insert a quiz slide you cannot add any additional design elements - they are all greyed out. It would be great if there was more flexibility with the design on these slides as it is a critical slide for e-learning

Allow autoplay of event video upon slide enter.
Using version 12.5, it would be helpful to have the option to force an event video to play automatically upon slide enter.

Allow custom positions for speech bubbles
Move the speech bubbles next to the character's mouths. They are currently positioned at their feet with no way to adjust.

Strange 404 error in console when I save scorm 1.2 project.
When I publish my project with SCORM 1.2. I get in the browser console strange 404 error.
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 ()

Web Object: Better utilization of available vertical space
I'm very grateful about the fact that with the 12.5 update the Web Object came back to Captivate. But there is an odd issue with the layout of web object blocks. They don't use the optimal vertical space within a slide layout. See the attached screenshot. Here the web object occupies only around 65% of the available vertical space between header and footer. Even if under ALIGNMENT AND SPACING Padding Top and Padding Bottom are set to 0px and Autofit Height is checked. Can that be optimized in future releases?

More Components in widgets, Customize my layout adjust the alignment
in the drag and drop widget, I can only add 6 drag components which is too less at least it should be 20. Similar issues In other widgets. Also, I can't customize the layout of my own too many editing limitations, can't edit designs of my own plus the suggested designs are very few.

Allow the Project.CurrentSlideNumber var to be Adjusted or assigned for branching
Our courses require users to jump to certain sections and we would like to be able to adjust the Slide # to the section they are viewing - Each section starting at 1.

In an earlier version of New Captivate, the SCORM reporting preference passed through to Adobe Learning Manager, as seen in ALM's content library. In SCORMS created on the last version and the version before, it seems to not pass through?
I've made a scorm with knowledge tests, not quizzes, and set completion to be 90% and passed to equal quiz passed. Now normally my ALM setting (worked in the past and with classic captivate) knows if there is no quiz (there are knowledge checks) then make it be passed automatically. change the hand cursor placement so it is over the click box, not instruction box
When taking a course that includes a Training software simulation, the cursor changes to a hand when the learner hovers over the Instruction caption but not the click box. I don't see a way to change this, or just remove the hand cursor from appearing over the Instruction caption.
