why can't we customize the Certificate. why we have to select from the template in widget only?
To create or design our own certificate.

Bug?--drag and drop target states
When I add a state to a D&D target, I get an error when previewing. I can add states to the drag objects, however.

Preview starting always on slide 1 (v12.3)
in the new update v12.3 the preview always starts on the first slide and not the current active slide, as before. It would be great, if it starts at the current (active) slide again.

Fix text formatting bugs
It's great that there are three distinct text sizes for desktop/tablet/mobile. However, I believe there's a bug with the way these display.
If a text element contains formatted text (e.g. bold, italics), the break point for the size change seems to happen at a different time to the rest of the text.
For users, this manifests as seemingly random paragraphs or headings displaying as smaller/larger than the rest of the text (see screenshot, where all text shown has the same style settings in Captivate. The only difference is whether the paragraph contains any words in bold/italics.

Film strip
When you click on a slide in the film strip can you apply a larger stroke to highlight the slide? It would make it easier to see what slide you are on.

Simplify Quiz design
The ability to remove the quiz feedback captions. In 2019 you can drag them away from the slide to hide them. "Submit All" simplify the process for a range of quiz questions. Allow the selections of buttons that meets the design requirement. such as just a "back" and "next" button on each slide to navigate through the quiz. On the final quiz slide show the "Submit All" button to submit all the answers in one go.

I am unable to export text-to-speech audio from Captivate. This was a problem for us in Captivate 12 and continues to be a problem with 13. I attended the Adobe Learning Summit and spoke to the developers about it, but have not received a resolution.

Crashing during AI Avatar
I have had a couple of attempts to create an AI Avatar for an imported PowerPoint. I was recording for YouTube at the time, submitted the crash using the crash report but thought it might be beneficial to see what I was doing at the time.

Bug- Mac Users Have Different Text
When I create trainings, they work just as expected on Windows but if someone on a Mac opens it the text turns into a different font and is not matching my company branding as I designed it to.

13.1 bug
13.1 bug - Captivate turns black after locking my computer (CTRL + L on Windows). Does not reload or open. Sometimes data is lost due to lack of save prior to blackout.

Object alignment against slide
Provide suggested alignment against slide when moving objects so that object aligns with slide and is not off-center if not desired.
Here you can see that the ppt import imported the black box, but did not align to the slide in a central manner so the box is partially off of the slide. Need to be able to center box against the slide.

feedback caption missing
I have a MCQ slide with multiple answers. If I do not select enough answers, but the ones that I do select are correct, there is no feedback caption shown. It moves straight to the next slide.
eg.
my MCQ has 5 possible answers
of those 5 answers, 3 are correct
when answering the question, if i only select 1 or 2 correct answers and nothing else, the feedback caption does not show.1 vote -
Allow you to mute project audio on specific slides
When I add background audio to the entire project I cannot stop it from playing on slides that have a video or video grid so you get the music and the video audio. The only way to get around this is to remove the background audio completely. Would be nice to add a feature in the audio tab on the slide to stop the music from playing entirely just on that slide.

The new Adobe Captivate version lacks the ability to restrict the video seekbar—a key feature for ensuring learner engagement and compliance in eLearning. In many training scenarios, it's important to prevent users from skipping ahead or fast-forwarding through video content. Ideally, the seekbar should be locked until the video has been watched completely. Once the video is fully viewed, users can then be allowed to fast-forward or rewind for review purposes. The new Adobe Captivate version lacks a critical feature for eLearning: the ability to restrict the Table of Contents (TOC) and Playbar navigation. In effective eLearning design, it's essential to control access to the TOC and the Next button to ensure learners fully complete each slide before progressing. This functionality was available in Adobe Captivate Classic and is a must-have for tracking learner engagement and completion. Please consider reintroducing this restriction feature in future updates.

[Bug] Selected tab loses highlight when widget loses focus
When the Tabs widget loses focus, the selected tab is no longer highlighted. The active state should remain visible so users don’t lose orientation.

Images to States not working
You cant add an image to different states, it allows you to open the upload box then nothing happens when you press load. This means you are left with a solid colour for hover and visited states which doesnt work.

Height for Video Grid
It should be possible to specify a height for Video Grid elements in the Custom Styles, similar to Slide Videos:

This program is unusable in its current state.
This program is unusable. Assets do not load, especially if you already have a system image loaded. Click to reveal does not work if you change image, or any settings (Something went wrong), Accordion crashes, you can't change image size so even if you have a small image it shows up huge in the slide. Hot spots, image is small and you can only size if horizontally. Slides and pictures resize from the editor to the preview. Its just ongoing. Unless you have a very simple course and you dont want to use widgets this program is basically useless. Going…
