Add a way to keep the arrow pointer visible after the animation on a software sim.
Currently, when the animation of the pointer is complete, the pointer disappears. There should be a way to separate the animation from the arrow graphic on the timeline so you can have the pointer persist on the screen until the end of the slide. This would be particularly helpful if you have audio over a particular slide on a simulation that is describing movements. You could then sync the movement with where it is mentioning it in the audio clip, but have the arrow pointer continue to point to the place until the end of the clip.

Persistant "clicked" state for click object in simulation after returning to the slide
Currently in Captivate 12 simulation, clicking an object to go down one path, then returning to the original slide does not result in that item persisting in the "clicked" state. (My goal is to force the learner to click on every item, which will bring them to another slide and back, before proceeding to a feedback page).

Bug Report: On a simulation slide, deleting an object such as a clickable box does not delete the interactions for that object
There is a bug on the simulation slides in Captivate 12. If you add an additional click box, and interaction for that click box is automatically populated in the interactions pane. If you delete that click box, it is removed from the timeline, but the interaction remains. I have not yet found a way to delete the interaction.

Software Simulation Not Capturing on Training with 12.6
I just recorded a software simulation this morning and it did not capture any click boxes. I am using 12.6 and I was recording on my primary monitor.

Adjust timing of caption in simulation
On a slide with a software simulation, it would be helpful to be able to adjust the timing of the captions which appear on success, failure, or providing a hint. Better yet would be to add the standard "press y or click anywhere to continue" option to allow the learner to choose when to continue. Currently, when enabled, the captions do not remain onscreen long enough for the user to fully read the message.

Would like an option to re-scale project image resolution after they have been recorded.
For example if the simulation was recorded with Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution I'd like the option to save it as HD (1280 x 720) so that it fits within my RoboHelp topic frame.

Simulation
I notice that in software simulations, if you have a highlight box in the same spot as a click box, it prevents the click box from being clicked.
Also really missing the ability to hide slides in the filmstrip, the audio panel, as well as the library.

Software Simulation Assessment
Just tested software simulation assessment and the score is not being captured correctly. I had at least a dozen steps and I only got one point for the assessment.

Software Sim background record issue
When I record a software sim, regardless of if it's demo, assessment or training, the actual application I'm trying to record (a web based app in Chrome, but true for any app) does not get recorded. Instead, I see only my desktop background image (in my case, mountains with grasses and trees). The click boxes and instructions/text captions appear in the right spots, just not the actual application. See attached screenshot to see what I mean.
I found threads for a similar problem long ago in Captivate Classic, the solution being to make sure you are running as an admin....…

Recording from within a project should have all three options for recording.
Currently recording simulation from within a project gives you radio buttons, therefore you can not record the demo, training, and assessment at the same time. This is useful if you have build up some knowledge slides then you wanted to add a software simulation as a demo and training for example.

Bug - Slides size after software simulation
After creating a few normal slides, when adding larger software simulation slides, the "working area" of the previously designed normal slides has enlarged and is now the size of a software simulation slide, which suggests that the slides need to be adjusted. It would be nice if each view in the "work area" ,represented the size of the slide in the preview, depending on the slide type (normal or software simulation).

Improve Calibration for Software Simulation - Captivate 12.3
With Captivate 12.3 (Windows 11 laptop), when I prepare to do a software simulation and select Narration and then calibrate, the audio is so quiet, regardless of which microphone I use, that it's inaudible in the project. Suggest you add the ability to manually calibrate, or address this if it's a bug.
