An error occurred while saving the comment An error occurred while saving the comment Jamie Lyons commentedMy organization is in the exact same situation. We have hundreds of non-responsive (that need to stay non-responsive) modules that will need to be completely redone. The amount of resources, time, and money this will cost us feels insurmountable. I am trying to come up with workarounds in this version but am coming up short. If I must completely recreate all of my modules, then I might as well pick software that actually has the features I need. In my opinion, this is not even close to a new version of Captivate. It’s a completely different program. I can't wait until Adobe gets all of the current features for Classic working in the new version to make a decision. Although we have years until Classic goes away, we can't even begin to start recreating our modules with the new version the way it is now. After 18 years of using Captivate as our primary software for trainings, we are most likely going to have to find an alternative product.

An error occurred while saving the comment Jamie Lyons commentedWe have software that requires keyboard functions - like pressing enter on the keyboard to continue. I don't see shortcut options that allow for keyboard shortcuts for click boxes or input fields.

An error occurred while saving the comment Jamie Lyons commentedI figured out the issue. If you turn off the placeholder text, you cannot see/select the object on the slide. I think this happened after I saved and re-opened. If you turn on the placeholder text, you can see the input field outlined and move it; once it's off again you can't.
**EDIT - I'm using InputFieldDesign Option 4**
How do you want me to share the file? I couldn't attach it here.
An error occurred while saving the comment Jamie Lyons commentedIn the previously attached screenshot, I placed an input field over the User Name field on the background image. You can see on the timeline that the input field is selected. Although the item is selected on the timeline, it is not highlighted on the slide (showing the placement). I cannot click on the location on the slide to select it or move it. When I preview the slide, it's there. The problem is that I can't see it/move it on the slide.
Please let me know what additional information is needed.

An error occurred while saving the comment Jamie Lyons commentedHere's an example of two components on a Software Simulation slide that are overlapping.
An error occurred while saving the comment Jamie Lyons commented@ Mayank - I'm able to overlap on Software Simulation components.
@Saurav - You can display/hide on output, but not on the slide.

@Randall Sauchuck I've been holding out hope that they will get most of what I need working, but I realize that's probably a pipe dream at this point. I guess more than anything I was just voicing my complete frustration. Articulate is on the table for us at this point.
