Add an image to the Question stem
I can't believe there in no option to have an image as part of the question stem. You can add them to the answers but that is not what I want.

Random question pools
Allow us to add random question pools to the quiz so that each student receives a randomized/different quiz. Able to do this in Captivate 2019, but not the new version.

You should be able to copy the appearance of buttons on quiz slides
You can copy the appearance of virtually anything on the main slides, with buttons being the most common in my case because I want to use a specific font, color, etc. But on the quiz you inexplicably cannot copy the appear of buttons and so now I have to manually set each Submit, View Answer, Back, and Next button on every Quiz slide individually which is a huge pain.

Simplify selection of correct answer in multiple choice questions
In previous versions of Adobe Captivate, selecting the correct answer for a multiple choice question was a single step process of merely selecting the correct answer(s) and that was it. With the All-new Adobe Captivate you need to first click on Select Answer, then select the answer(s) and then press the Done button. This is now a three step process. This process is now at least two more clicks per slide. While this is not a complicated process it will take more time to perform these steps, especially if you have a large number of question slides to produce.

Saving Captions as Part of the Theme
I would like the ability to save changes to feedback captions like Correct and Failure as part of the theme. This would save me time that I presently spend updating each caption one by one.

Feedback messages issues
Due to the deprecation of Themes there are no object styles for the Feedback messages on quizzes. They have terrible color combinations which make them unreadable. It is possible to edit the style of the Shape/Text when finding the Hide button next to the barely visible because dimmed 'Caption' option. However I didn't find a way to transfer the new styling to all the feedback messages in the project. Is that possible?

Bug - Cannot submit answers
Here is the adobe forum where I was asking about this and the steps I took to try and correct it: https://elearning.adobe.com/2023/08/captivate-12-unable-to-select-quiz-answer-in-published-course/#comment-353158
I have a quiz with 10 questions. You can see the quiz here: https://app.cloud.scorm.com/sc/InvitationConfirmEmail?publicInvitationId=0cfcc50d-f581-446a-a5e0-b41fc1d3e602
When you get to question 2, you cannot submit an answer. If you close the SCORM Cloud window and relaunch it, you can continue. But when you get to question 9, the same thing happens. If I am in my regular LMS, the same thing happens but the only way to continue is to switch to a new browser. I have no idea why…

Display Time Limit for question slides
The ability to add a time limit per question slides is great, however it would be nice to display this countdown timer to learners so they can gauge how much time they have left. Is there a system variable that could be displayed or other method to achieve this?

Add the option to have two quizzes for example a pretest and a posttest with two different results.
Add the option to have two quizzes for example a pretest and a posttest with two different results. This allows us to see what the learner knows before training and what they learned after training.

Bug: Activating Skip button in Quiz Preferences is not functional
;The only way to have a Skip button on quiz slides is to do it manually on each slide. In older versions it was possible to set it once in the Quiz Preferences, and it could only be overruled by an individual slide setting. Now it is not possible to have it globally

Bug - Short Answer question slide is broken if you include a quotation symbol " in your answer
I had a short answer question where the answer was "1"=20'" and I kept getting a "Something Went Wong" error. After recreating the question several time, I eventually started going one character at a time to see if there was an issue with the answer. As soon as I removed the quote symbol the question began to function as intended.

Feature request: quiz component missing
Right now, including a working quiz is only possible by using a Quiz Slide. For one-page scrollable courses this somehow works by building it with components (paragraph, option box, button, reporting + including in quiz/points), but takes time and is limited.
More options are missing to share points and set correct answers easily.
It would be great to insert a “full quiz” interactive component, same as by inserting full quiz slides.

unique feedback for each answer in multiple choice
I would like to have the ability to select different feedback captions depending on which multiple-choice answer was selected. This will make the feedback caption less generic and provide an opportunity to teach or reinforce during assessments as well.

feedback multistate object in quiz
At this moment the default position of that multistate object is at the top. However that means that the control panel for the 3 layouts is overlapping the feedback messages during Preview. It would be better to put that default location to the bottom.
BTW, it would be nice to have the Show 'captions' remain active until they are hidden again by the developer. Now you have to show them individually on each slide, which means a lot of time loss when editing the content of those messages, since you need to scroll down in the properties panel to find…2 votes
