Playbar & Skin theme customization
Customizable playbar including skin themes... Similar to the classic version - You shouldn't have to go into an older version to be able to customize items.

Make "Duration" display in TOC optional
Please enable us in the TOC and/or Playbar settings to omit the display of duration for each slide. Slide durations are in many trainings insignificant.

Navigation by TOC
In all previous versions it was possible to control navigation by TOC. You could either choose to allow free navigation or navigation to visited slides. That very important feature which even could be an alternative for resume a session when not having access to a LMS (within limits with cookies) is completely lost.

Playbar covers content
If you set the feedback of a question slide to appear at the bottom, the Playbar covers the content. How did this EVER pass a QA review?

Allow for audio to be played at 2x and 4x speed in HTML5 player
In the HTML5 slide video player, the 2x and 4x button in the playbar at the bottom of the screen only speed up the slide by 2 and 4 times respectively and mute the audio. It would be a useful feature if the audio can also be sped up 2x and 4x when this button is pressed so users have the ability to both listen and watch the material at a faster speed.

User Guide: confusing info
In the User Guide, section TOC/playbar this is written:
"Select TOC and playbar in the LEFT TOOLBAR-"
However that button is at the bottom RIGHT on top of the Project Properties.2 votes -
Restrict Navigation until Slide End
Many stakeholders request that navigation be turned off until the slide/audio completes, i.e., forced navigation. In order to accomplish this currently, I have to either create my own navigation buttons or hide the playbar upon slide enter and show it at the end of the slide. The latter option isn't feasible because users can no longer toggle closed caption on/off while audio is playing. Both workaround options are time consuming.
I propose adding a feature that allows the developer to disable only the forward button (not the entire playbar) until the slide audio completes.

Quiz TOC checkmarks depending on right/wrong answer
Previously, we used Adobe Presenter, where the TOC indicated by different symbols whether the answer to a quiz question was right or wrong.
In Captivate 12.3.0.12 (German version, Windows), the TOC displays a green "passed" checkmark if the slide has been seen, even if the recorded answer is wrong.
Please let checkmarks be configurable - or at least display an appropriate checkmark (red "x" or similar) for all quiz slides with a wrong answer.1 vote -
Add a pause button option
Please add the ability to easily add a PLAY/PAUSE button option in variables or slide interactions AND add the option into the TOC. The reason I am asking for BOTH options is that when I have a course that requires learners to view all slides, I need to turn off TOC because it currently allows learners to skip ahead/bypass slides so I need the ability to easily create a button/action allowing learners to pause play on any individual slide. (If I am missing something or there is an easy way to create the button/action - please share!)

Bug in Table of Content in All new Adobe Captivate 12.3
I am creating a course which contains 3 Question Slides (Q1, Q2, Q3) and 1 result slide after that. Before Question slide Q1 there is one slide called "Quiz" which contains start button to start the quiz And after Result Slides there are two slide called tool, hooray slide. In table of content I have hide the Q1, Q2, Q3, result slide. When I click on the tool slide on TOC it redirect me to Q1 slide and when I click on the hooray slide on TOC it redirect me to Q2 slide. What will be reason? Why it is…

Status Flags
Allow status flags in the TOC again - it's great for our helpdesk people to troubleshoot users with issues completing modules - they can see if they've skipped anything. Right now flags show the first time through, but disappear after.

Playbar: Add 'Forward 15 secs' and 'Back 15 secs' buttons so that learners can advance or go back within a single slide.
Add 'Forward 15 secs' and 'Back 15 secs' buttons so that learners can advance or go back within a single slide. For example, if a project has a slide video which is 5 minutes in duration, it would be helpful for the learner to be able to navigate back and forwards within that video/slide, similar to the way you can with other apps like Netflix and Youtube.
