Adjust slide appearance for imported question pools
I have a comprehensive exam with 17 question pools and 350 total questions. When you import into a question pool, Captivate does not use a master slide. There is no way to adjust the Correct and Incorrect states font and text color for all the question slides in a pool. If there was a master slide associated with the imported pool, the appearance of those states could be edited in the master and applied to all the questions in the pool. Alternatively, allow states to be copied and applied to an entire question pool or to all selected slides.

Multiple closed captions for Slide/Event video
For the purposes of localization it would be helpful to have more than one closed caption SRT/VTT file for each video in the course and allow the user to select their own language preferences.

Keyboard Shortcuts for Buttons
Classic Captivate allowed for us to assign a keyboard shortcut to each button for accessibility. The needs brining back.

add the ability to add audio to widgets/tabs or custom interactions to their buttons
widgets do not allow different audio on different tabs or custom interactions when the buttons are pressed. Example: a carousel with steps on different tabs should play audio for step 1 when viewing step 1, on clicking step 2, i want to hear audio for step 2 and so on. For hotspot buttons, young learners, should be able to hear the name of each part separately when they click on the different parts. on click interaction for hotspot buttons, carousel, and all widgets will make them more usable.

Create a java script or interaction that will rewind audio. When attaching audio to a slide, the learner cannot rewind the audio.
Currently, it is possible to use JavaScript to create a button to rewind video files within the captivate project, however, there is no similar functionality available for audio files attached to slides. This limitation impacts the learner's ability to revisit specific parts of the audio content.
I recommend adding an option under the interactions section or as part of the timeline settings that enables users to rewind audio attached to a slide. This feature could allow creators to configure rewind increments of 5, 10, and/or 15 seconds(or provide custom intervals). This functionality would make it easier to review the content…

Allow Highlight box on image slides
I have screen shot images in which I want to point out items using a highlight but there is no option if you are using a slide with an image. This seems only possible on a simulation slide. Same with hover box or or button. I can only add a button at the bottom using the widget, but I can't overlay an interaction on my screen shot.

AI Voice/text to speech workflow improvements
I love this feature in then new version 12.5 with AI, however the workflow needs to be simplified. In many cases, I want the text I have on the screen to be spoken. I need to copy all that, open the text-to-speech, then paste the same information into the speech caption box, then click generate. Add a right-click option or a button that allows me to pick a text object already on the slide, and just convert it without all the duplicate effort.

Check for update
In Adobe Captivate, the only way to check the version and/or see if there is an update is to create a new project; or open a new project. It would be nice to be able to do the same in the home screen.

Three Outcomes for Quiz Results Slides
Presently there are two possible Review Area results messages, however there are three possible results of some quizzes.
1. You passed
2. You failed
3. You ran out of triesIt would be nice to have the third Review Area message available when a set number of tries have been set in the Interactions Section of the Results slide.
I have a client right now who wants this configuration but it requires a custom solution on my part.

Click Box fail message does not allow you to remove text when an image is used
If you select an image as a click box fail state, you can not delete the text in the box so it has no text at all. Any attempt to remove the text, defaults it back when I click out of the failed message box. I don't always need text.

Allow the Timeline to be moved away from the stage to make screen management easier.
In previous versions of Captivate, I was able to grab the timeline and place it anywhere I wanted on my monitors. I could then see the stage and timeline all at once. It was much more efficient.

SCORMCloud
In Adobe Captivate Classic there was an extremely useful feature that allowed you to preview courses in SCORMCloud. Not only was this useful for testing, but it could also assist in confirming that interactive data was being reported on. I would very much appreciate this feature being reintroduced into Captivate 12.

Click box interaction
I really miss smart shapes and being able to put click boxes wherever I want on slides that are 'regular' slides, not software sim slides. For instance, if you have a map and want to make parts of the map clickable.
Hotspots are OK , you can change the opacity to 0 and have an invisible area to click... but I can't add an action to it to do something like take a user to another slide.
As a workaround I use a software simulation slide and change the background image. Then I add click boxes for the areas I…

Simulation highlight boxes in theme editor
It would be very helpful to have simulation elements design properties be added to the theme editor so that they do not need to be manually changed in each project. I believe this was a feature in Captivate classic.

Knowledge check slide icon
I really miss the little icon that would display in the filmstrip under knowledge check slides. It was great to be able to tell at a glance which question slides were KCs and which were graded. I feel like I have to go to each slide and check in the property inspector now, which takes more time.

add layering text on top of images and images on top of text.
I wanted to layer text on top of an image but for the text be more formatted to the right of the image. Even with the workaround and padding, I cannot get my text to the far right of the image.

Allow for adding captions to any audio, not just at the slide level. For example audio attached to slide objects or interactions.
