Bring back the Slide Notes feature
We use the Slide Notes feature often in Adobe Classic to add notes, things to remember, and our audio script. It would be a very helpful feature to add to this newest version.

Export/Import Preferences
There are no longer Global Preferences, which you could set from the Welcome screen in Captivate Classic. That is already very bad, but not being able to export a set of Preferences and import it in a new project is really CRITICAL for localisation. I always had a set of Preferences for French, Dutch, Italian, German ready to import if I needed to have Quizzing labels in that particular language. This is more important than missing the spell control for those languages.

Bug - Shortcut to move blocks
It would be helpful to move bocks with the arrow up and down. As a default shortcut, it could be Alt+UP and ALT+Down. The drag and drop feature is not always efficient.

Project Properties - Bug
I have noticed that the UI Components in Edit Theme will not allow me to select and change certain colors. I am unable to change button colors even if it is a preset color. Also, Edit Theme removes colors from my preset. All UI Components are experiencing issues customizing the colors.

Quizzing Preferences
There is still a category Quizzing under Preferences. However some of the preferences have been moved to the Properties panel of the Results slide: Attempts on quiz level, Pass/Fail actions etc... They used to be in the Quizzing Preferences under Pass/Fail.
However you can build a 'Quiz' by using only scored objects (formerly labeled as Custom questions). In that case the Results slide is NOT added automatically and you don't have access to its Properties. It would be better to move Pass/Fail again to Quiz Preferences.3 votes -
Shortcut key Preferences
BUG: the shortcut key to open Preferences is CTRL-,
That shortcut key is NOT functional on any other keyboard than the US keyboard. Why not get back to the original shortcut key which always worked in previous versions: SHIFT-F8.
Using a punctuation mark in a shortcut key is always a bad idea, because its location is not fixed, depends on keyboard.
BTW I use an AZERTY keyboard, thanks for fixing the beta bug CTRL-Z.3 votes -

In an earlier version of New Captivate, the SCORM reporting preference passed through to Adobe Learning Manager, as seen in ALM's content library. In SCORMS created on the last version and the version before, it seems to not pass through?
I've made a scorm with knowledge tests, not quizzes, and set completion to be 90% and passed to equal quiz passed. Now normally my ALM setting (worked in the past and with classic captivate) knows if there is no quiz (there are knowledge checks) then make it be passed automatically. Now coz there is no quiz it sets it to…

User manual to be updated
Some confusing sentences:
At the start 'Launch Preferences' I see "On the toolbar, select Adobe Captivate > Preferences".. A menu is not a toolbar, and for WIndows users (still the majority) you find it under Edit, Preferences. BTW I logged the bug that the shortcut key is not working on an AZERTY keyboard, while the former SHIFT-F8 worked perfectly.
General Preferences, Default locations. It is no longer 'Publish at' but 'Location'. Due to the confusion for many users and problems in the past, a warning message should appear to avoid using the same folder for both and about not using…

Custom Size: Page Properties/Layout
I understand the need for responsive design and I appreciate added features. With that said, please don't remove features. I would like to be able to control the layout size for desktops. When embedded in the LMS, a scroll bar appears so the learners can not see the buttons without scrolling. Please bring back custom sizing.
