You may enable "Move to next slide when the widget completes" in the Click to Reveal widget settings. When you enable this toggle, the next button enables and the project moves to the next slide only when a learner has visited all the overlay cards.

The option to add company logo in the Header/Footer and adjusting image padding are now available with Captivate 12.5, which shall be tentatively released by the end of this month. If you’re interested in early access, you may download the setup from below URL and see if this version meets your requirements:

The overlap workflow can possibly be achieved by utilizing the image state option. About the option to freely adjust the image position, could you please share more use cases for a better understanding? The use case about moving the company logo in the lower right side of the screen can be achieved by inserting an image block, and adjusting the padding options under "Alignment and Spacing". It would help if you could share a screen capture of the final results you're expecting.

You can easily insert a button using a button content block from interactive components and utilize the play/pause functionality as per your requirement. Refer to this help article for more details: https://helpx.adobe.com/captivate/help/add-button-component-captivate-project.html.
To disable navigation from the TOC, you can either completely disable the TOC from the TOC and Playbar options in your Captivate project or lock the TOC contents by using the variable "Project.LockTOC." For more details, refer to this help article: https://helpx.adobe.com/captivate/help/variables-adobe-captivate.html.

Please ensure that the "Show hand cursor on the Clickbox" option is selected under the mode settings while recording the simulation. This should resolve the issue. Attaching a screenshot for your reference.

You may disable the Playbar from the Captivate Project Properties to ensure that the users can only complete slide(s) by interacting with the slide objects and cannot proceed without interacting with all of them

Typically, we would utilize the quiz review option on the final result slide to review the answered questions. For your scenario, we can instead set an action on the button to go to a relevant slide rather than going back to the previously answered question slide.
Please share a few use cases where you might need the user to go back to a previously answered quiz slide using an interaction from a next slide so we can check and suggest accordingly.

The default action available on a quiz slide is a standard action. However, adding a new action would allow you to create a conditional action. PFA screenshot for your reference.
Also, the original action can be removed, if it is no longer needed.
The failure caption text box allows the following image file types (attaching screenshot for reference) to be used for image fill option. Could you please elaborate how the GIF is being imported to the failure text caption box so we can check and suggest further accordingly?
