The latest version of Adobe Captivate available officially is 13.0. Kindly check and confirm the complete version from Help->About Adobe Captivate.
Meanwhile, you may also follow the below steps to recreate Captivate preferences and check if it resolves the issue:
• Close Captivate
• Open File Explorer, click on “View” in the top menu bar, and check “Hidden items”
• Go to C:\Users\”username”\AppData\Local\Adobe, and rename “Adobe Captivate” to “Adobe Captivate.old”
• Go to C:\Users\Public\Documents\Adobe\eLearning Assets and rename “captivate” to “captivate.old”
• Go to C:\Users\Public\Documents\Adobe and rename “Adobe Captivate” to “Adobe Captivate.old”
• Open Captivate and check -

The official Captivate build with PowerPoint import functionality has now been released, including several fixes and enhancements. Please install the latest update via Help → Check for Updates or download the setup from the provided URL to see if it resolves the issue: https://adobe.com/products/captivate/vipdownload.html.
