    You can achieve this by utilizing slide videos in new Adobe Captivate instead of regular Video content block (event videos in Captivate Classic) as the slide videos utilize project controls. New Adobe Captivate does not currently include a playbar with timeline scrubbing which prevents fast-forwarding or skipping. Additionally, authors have full control to hide the playbar or disable navigation controls (like Next, Back, etc.) to ensure that the learner must view the entire video on a slide before progressing.

    You may try adjusting the no. of attempts for the impacted slide or adjust the partial scoring and check if it resolves the issue.     You may use the “Adjust volume on slides with audio” option under Project Properties for background audio. This allows you to control the volume of background audio on slides that already contain audio. Attaching the screenshot for your reference.

    Kindly elaborate if you have a different requirement so I can suggest further accordingly.

    I checked this workflow in Captivate 12.6, and the option "videoHeight": 400 isn’t available for slide videos either. Could you please share a screenshot or screen recording showing where you see this option for a slide video that isn’t available for a video grid, so I can advise accordingly?
