Agreed. You have 0 control over course progress right now. You can try to hide the next buttons, but you can't gate ToC elements at all.
Gotta do a workaround for every feature that Captivate team didn't bother implementing or removed with their "updates" in last 10+ years.

Agree. This quasi-responsive monster that they created with 13+ is just a travesty. You have 0 control over how anything looks. Want to add an image? Do you like any of the 6 design options Captivate has? No? Too bad, can't do anything outside of the very limited boxes they give you.
Want to add an image anywhere you want on slide? Nah.
Want to move or resize something? Nah, we can't let you do that.
Objectively, Captivate just kept getting worse over the years and this might be the last nail in the coffin. They lost the plot. You're better off using anything else. It takes them decades to add a feature with like 1% of functionality that was asked (looking at you PPT import - cant import single slides into existing projects and can't modify anything once imported - worthless feature)

Agree, you can barely do anything with the header/footer feature - it makes the logos the smallest possible version, and you have no control over how its displayed basically.
