An error occurred while saving the comment Lieve Weymeis commentedIt is very confusing now. The fact that the former Effects in Captivate now are labeled as 'animations' means to me that they do not want to import any other type of animations. I used to import Animated GIFs (created in Photoshop) and OAMs created in Animate all the time. Even animations which could collaborate with Captivate using JS.
All collaboration with other Adobe apps seems to be banned. This is very saddening. -

An error occurred while saving the comment Lieve Weymeis commentedSorry to insist that even in Captivate Classic it was not possible to time any object for the whole project if the project was responsive! Tha main master slide was useless when developing a Fluid Boxes project for that reason. You could mimick that behavior by having the same fluid box in all daughter master slides at the bottom reserved for that purpose. Master slides are not available in the new canned blocks workflows.

An error occurred while saving the comment Lieve Weymeis commentedStyling of quiz components was very easy in previous versions: change the style either on the stage and apply it to the default style or change it in the Object Style manager which had a separate category for quizzing objects.
Now you need to edit either each object individually or change the default style in the Theme. No way to do it based on an example on the stage.Lieve Weymeis supported this idea · -

An error occurred while saving the comment Lieve Weymeis commentedI had the same experience, and it is due to the complete lack of customisability of the UI. You cannot move anything, close unnecessary panels, create custom workspaces. This is totally contrary to all great Adobe applications. The right station needs too much scrolling, the stage is so crowded that some buttons (like Done) are only a few pixels and almost invisible. Overlapping everywhere without possibiity to move.

This is almost exactly what my clients (I am a consultant/trainer) proclaim as well. Moreover I am convinced that not every topic can be consumed on mobile devices. That pedagogical side seems not to be considered at all in this new version. Hype terms like 'learning style' 'micro-learning' 'minimalistic design' are more like fashion words, but forego the real goal of all learning assets. Just like the social aspects which are indispensable are ignored as well.
