You should be able to copy the appearance of buttons on quiz slides
You can copy the appearance of virtually anything on the main slides, with buttons being the most common in my case because I want to use a specific font, color, etc. But on the quiz you inexplicably cannot copy the appear of buttons and so now I have to manually set each Submit, View Answer, Back, and Next button on every Quiz slide individually which is a huge pain.

Agree with Cliff: to what object defaults do Colors 1-9 correspond?

Styling of quiz components was very easy in previous versions: change the style either on the stage and apply it to the default style or change it in the Object Style manager which had a separate category for quizzing objects.
Now you need to edit either each object individually or change the default style in the Theme. No way to do it based on an example on the stage. -

Based on your response I think you got this but if the slide if built and then you change the theme the slide will stay the same. At least, that's what I've seen.

@Aditya I tried but I cannot get any custom colors to actually set for the buttons. Seems bugged. The default solids work, but my company has a designated palette of colors and switching to the color picker and entering the HEX code doesn't set the button color, it just sets it to black.
Edit - it looks like if i set the color palette first then i can choose the colors. i also have no way of knowing which color from 1-9 the program wants to use by default for things like the text color and button color and outline color, very unintuitive. Users should just be able to set the palette for quick access, but use whatever color they need when they need it, the limitations here are working against you instead of for you.

@Cliff you may consider using the theme editor to style quiz buttons..
the style of default design options is customizable from the theme editor
