Make image and text placement more like the old Adobe Pagemaker (now Adobe InDesign), where you draw a placeholder and then insert content and adjust parameters. Starting with all the restrictions, then having to try to make it work with your layout is very time consuming to get the desired results. That way we can overlap, adjust size or proportions, etc. easily. I understand you want to use a built in dynamic layout grid but that approach is tedious to get the results we are trying to achieve.
