    Hi Jeff,

    Currently there is no such option. You have an option to record your own voice as a voice over in Captivate.

    Hi Jason,

    I am able to copy/paste the slide or the slide contents from one project to another. This should work.

    Can you try to reset the preferences for Captivate and check the issue again?

    1. Close Captivate and Go to : C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Captivate\utils
    2. Double Click : CleanPreferencesWin.bat
    3. Launch Captivate again and check.

    Can you share the image or some use case on what you want to achieve. This will give us more clarity on requirements. We do have designs available for Image blocks and text blocks. If there is something which is not there that suits your requirement then do let us know the usercase.

    Currently using advance interactions you can get the button to play / pause and restart the Audio. However, the audio will play from the start.

    We have added padding for buttons in update 4 which is still in testing, that should resolve the issue with spaces or width of the button.

    Hi Maja,

    There is an arrow using which you can collapse the playbar during the runtime or you also have an option to disable the playbar completely.

    Please let me know if you are looking for something else.

    Adobe Captivate Classic will be supported until 2026, with extended support continuing through 2027. You can find more details here: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/support/programs/eol-matrix.html

    Regarding the new Adobe Captivate, we’re rolling out regular updates, each bringing valuable new features. The next update is expected to be released around the first or second week of September.

    Can you try the below steps and let me know if this fix the issue?

    1. Close Captivate.
    2. Go to : C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Captivate\utils
    3. Double click: "CleanPreferencesWin.bat"
    4. Go to: C:\Users\Public\Documents\Adobe
    5. Rename "eLearning Assets" to "eLearning Assets_old".
    6. Launch Captivate and check the issue again.

    Can you share the Bug number if you have?

    SHIFT + f8 used to open preferences window in Classic. I charm the shortcut key is different. It is ctrl + ,
