    Thank you for your feedback.

We could not reproduce the issue with mentioned scenario in the Drag & Drop widget on our end using Captivate 12.6. If you haven’t already, please update to the latest Captivate version (v12.6) and check if it resolves the issue. You can update via Help > Check for Updates or download the setup directly from: https://adobe.com/products/captivate/vipdownload.html.

If the issue persists, kindly confirm your Operating system and version so we can suggest further accordingly. Also, please confirm if the Captivate files are saved locally or on a network/shared drive.

You can update via Help > Check for Updates or download the setup directly from: https://adobe.com/products/captivate/vipdownload.html.

In case it still doesn't work, the issue could be because of browser cache. You can try clearing the cache, check in Incognito mode, or check after removing the content from Connect and re-upload.

If the issue persists, kindly confirm your Operating system and version so we can suggest further accordingly. Also, please confirm if the Captivate files are saved locally or on a network/shared drive.

    Thank you for your feedback.

The issue with the Accordion widget in Captivate 12.6 has been identified and is planned to be fixed in the upcoming update.

If this is urgent, please confirm your operating system, and we can provide a custom build in the meantime.

    Thank you for your suggestions!

The header and footer blocks are designed to stay fixed at the top and bottom of the page, but we’ll certainly explore the possibility and feasibility of making them persistent on scrolling.

Regarding copying branding blocks across projects — we tested this workflow and were able to copy the header/footer between projects successfully. If you haven’t already, please update to the latest Captivate version (v12.6) and give it a try. You can update via Help > Check for Updates or download the setup directly from: https://adobe.com/products/captivate/vipdownload.html.

As for integrating headers and footers into the theme editor, it’s a great idea. However, currently the theme editor mainly handles formatting elements like fonts and colors.

Please let us know if you have a different requirement or other use cases so we can check further accordingly.

    Thank you for your feedback.

In Captivate 12.6, you can hover over the slide name to view the full title. Additionally, you can use the keyboard shortcuts Cmd + Right/Left Arrow on Mac or Ctrl + Right/Left Arrow on Windows to quickly navigate while editing the slide name. This allows you to move to the beginning or end of the text efficiently and make edits more easily.

    Thank you for your feedback.

This feature appears to be working fine with Adobe Captivate 12.6 as pressing the space-bar key plays/pauses the timeline. If not done already, please install the latest update from Help->Check for Updates and see if it works fine. You may also use this URL to directly download the setup for latest version: adobe.com/products/captivate/vipdownload.html

Thank you for sharing the details.

We tested this workflow using Adobe Captivate 12.6, and it appears to be working as expected—disabling the mouse pointer also disables the mouse click sound. Please install the latest update (12.6) and check if it works fine for you.

You can either install update from Help > Check for Updates or by directly downloading the setup from this URL: https://adobe.com/products/captivate/vipdownload.html

We were unable to reproduce the issue with the suggested steps. If the project file is saved on a network/shared drive, please save it locally on your device and check. If the issue persists, please follow below steps and check if it resolves the issue (Performing the below steps will recreate Captivate preferences which would remove recent projects list from the home screen):

    • Close Captivate
    • Open File Explorer, click on “View” in the top menu bar, and check “Hidden items”
    • Go to C:\Users\”username”\AppData\Local\Adobe, and rename “Adobe Captivate 12.0” to “Adobe Captivate 12.0.old”
    • Go to C:\Users\Public\Documents\Adobe\eLearning Assets and rename “12.0” to “12.0.old”
    • Go to C:\Users\Public\Documents\Adobe and rename “Adobe Captivate” to “Adobe Captivate.old”
    • Open a Captivate project saved locally and check

Additionally, about the mouse click sound still playing after disabling, please select "None" as reflected in the attached screenshot, and check if it works fine

    Thank you for your suggestion.

Most key options, such as Preview, Publish, and Publish to ALM, are also available through the menu. Could you please clarify which specific options you find missing so we can investigate further?

    Thank you for your suggestion.

You may consider the option to add separate closed captions with split content as per your requirement and check if it meets your requirements.

In case it still doesn't work could you please share more details or specific scenarios so we can review and assist further?

    Thank you for your feedback.

The changes made to default labels under preferences would be reflected on the newly added quiz slides and not on the existing slides. Please check by inserting new slides and see if it works fine for you.
