Captivate 2023 has a problem with special caracteres
The software does not allow you to use accents in PT-BR, for example words that have ^ is not allowed to type.

This issue is also present in Captivate French version. Not possible to put accents (è, ê, û, ù, î, ô), with the exception of "é" which has a key on the keyboard. It is possible to copy and paste these characters from another application, however.

For exemple, à è ë can be copied from an other app, but cannot be type directly in a text box in Captivate.
