CCs in widgets
Allow for CCs when using audio attached to widgets or multistate objects. Much of the allure and design functionality in captivate is not usable if you need closed captioning for accessability--WHICH IS ALMOST EVERY eLEARNING DEVELOPER!!! We're limited to just the basic blocks which have less functionality than a wordpress page from 2010!!!

language of the project
In the accessibility panel, we can select a language for each block. For now, it need to be changed manually for each block. It would be useful to select the language by default in the project settings. As I develop french content, I need to change manually each block language.

Allow easy reordering of objects for screen reader optimization
Currently we only have control over the tab order of active objects (buttons and links) in Tab Order; to change the order that items are read by a screen reader we have to rearrange the timeline order, which is extremely cumbersome for complex pages. Make this easier to edit so we can more efficiently develop accessible content for screen readers in Captivate

Allow for full editing of the quiz captions
Currently, the font, text size, and text color of the captions on the quiz slides cannot be edited. Through Theme Editor, the caption backgrounds can be changed for success and error, but not for incomplete. The message content can be edited through Preferences, but there is no way to change the font, text size, and text color. This poses accessibility issues as there is often not enough contrast for these messages.

Software simulation settings should be sticky
In 2019, when you created a software simulation it remembered size, location on screen and other settings. Now, each time I create a simulation, it asks me for the same details. This means if I have forgotten to take a screen or series of actions, the capture area is not in the same place. This means a lot of messing around to get the capture lining up with the software window. It's incredibly frustrating. Also, please remember the tracking setting! I don't want or need automatic tracking, so having it reset each time is irritating.

closed captions
I'm finding that closed captions are sometimes delayed and therefore out of sync with narration or video depending on load times. For example, I have a slide where there is a single asynchronous video and some slide narration. The slide narration takes some time to load and the closed captions are running faster than the narration. Same thing for the video captions. Also not always in synch. I think the slide should not start playing until all the multi media is loaded so that captions, audio and video are always in sync.

Add a closed captioning to a slide that includes a 'Web' video as the video Source.
As it stands now you can only import closed captions when you upload the original mp4 file. If you choose the web video source option, there is not an option to add captions. At a minimum you should allow the use of the Youtube video playbar so users can toggle the youtube closed captions. This seems like a big miss for accessibility.

New Captivate Backup file Icon displays as Classic Icon
Currently, the new Captivate backup file icon appears identical to the classic Captivate icon. To ensure clarity and avoid mix-ups between the two applications, the new Captivate backup file icon should be displayed as the new Captivate icon.

Captions in Multi-state objects & auto caption from audio file
First: Captions should be generated automatically from an audio file as they are in Premiere Pro. We should not have to type in every word of a transcript in order to caption a project.
Second: There must be a way to caption multi-state objects that have audio files attached that are triggered from a bookmark interaction on the timeline. This is an essential accessibility feature. It was missing in Captivate Classic as well. Fix this please.
Thank you.

allow people to add custom voices for text to speech.
Allow users to add custom voices for text to speech. Also, when you have to break a sentence up, the program adds a space of blank air, making it awkward.

Make default quiz buttons picked up by focus area for keyboard accessibility
The default quiz buttons can be tabbed through with a keyboard, but after you turn the focus setting on, the focus area does not appear on the default quiz buttons-- this means to make a truly accessible quiz you have to use custom quiz buttons. Please fix this.

Fix inconsistent functionality of widgets on Apple products.
My Apple users who participate in courses I have built in Captivate experience inconsistent results when navigating widgets and using buttons. Specifically, exit buttons don't close the course, and flip cards delay the action so users end up clicking multiple times and the widget acts erratically.

Allow for closed captions when video is playing full screen.
When in full screen mode that can be accessed from the "Grid" style Video Media block, the closed captions are not visible. Additionally, a "CC" toggle button should be available on the default controls of the full screen.
