Image height and width
The height and width of the images should be easy editable in page view, property of image and edition mode of the image.

Tell us what the expected dimensions (min and max) are for image boxes so we can plan our graphics accordingly.
I have tried adding stock images from various sources to the image boxes and invariably, they're the wrong size, which is causing me to have to perform extra work to get them sized accordingly.

Add ability to add additional text block to image block.
Currently you can only have a caption and subtitle on the image block. It would be helpful to be able to insert additional text blocks. This would allow for you to do things like adjust the timing of each text block for bullets with audio narration.

You should be able to click images, in any block, and open them in a new window to view full-size.
Most of the image formatting options are incredibly limited. I use many detailed images that need to be viewed up close. It would be incredibly helpful if users could click an image and view it full size. The best I can do at this point is turn my text block into a link that opens the image, but clicking the image itself would be a much more elegant solution.

Enable us to move images to the location of our choice on the slide. Also, allow us to stack or overlap images on top of one another.
Currently, you have limited control over where an image is placed on the screen. For example, I was attempting to place our company logo in the lower right side of the screen, but could not do this. I would also like to be able to add an image on top of another image. For example, I might like to have a check mark appear over another image at a certain point during the narration.

Add shapes and text boxes.
We utilize shapes and text boxes frequently in Captivate Classic. These seem to be missing from the new version of Captivate.

image optimization
Perhaps if you could add the ability to have the software optimize the images when publishing (set a max width and height or some type of way to measure it.) that would save space in the package - similar to powerpoint.

Allow images to be moved anywhere on screen and then allow interactive elements to sit next to them
Currently, I can not have an image on the left and an interactive question or dropdown on the right - I can only have text and the interactive element shows under everything. These elements should be able to be next to each other.

blur
Blur does not seem to be working properly. Blur is very subtle for most values. It's not until 50 that anything really happens. Then maybe 80 for the next. But the most significant is between 90 and 91. This occurs for all images and anything that blur applies. Seems like a bug that blur isn't very significant until 91. By then, it's too significant of a difference. 91 is probably appropriate, but the lower values should increase blur more

Add GIF as a supported filetype for Image Background on the slide
If you use a media block, GIF files are listed in the filetypes dropdown. However, if you use 'Image background' for the slide, GIF files are not listed in the filetypes dropdown. If you manually enter the path to a GIF, they import as expected.

Overlay text over an image - image over image placement
It is nice to overlay images with texts. e.g. to number pictures or putting adding a text to a picture like the Smartforms in CPC.
Placing Text over a picture will help in several cases to have a better user guidance.
Additionally image over image might help too. E.g a printscreen of a software and putting 1. 2. 3 above the screen according to the audio instruction.1 vote -

Add 360 image/video support to the new Captivate
360 image/video capabilities have become increasingly more important for me to create 360 tour walkthroughs for team members that are not near physical locations. It is the next best thing to being there.

In-built states are missing from Captivate 12.2 [at least] for the Image Grid
It's easies to look at this file (https://envolvemedia.adobeconnect.com/pwafpzqrnced/default/builtInStatesLost.cpt) for an example:
- Slide 1 uses the Image Grid and the States for this grid are missing InBuilt states
- Slide 2 was copied from an older version of Captivate 12 and includes the InBuilt states for the same widgetNOTE: This page includes an In-Built States section, even though the InBuilt states are missing from the Image Grid Widget: https://helpx.adobe.com/captivate/help/states-adobe-captivate.html

Images on blocks do not have same properties as background images on slides (or image media block)
When setting an image for the background appearance of a block, you lose the ability to set transparency, blur, brightness and contrast.
1. Add an Introduction Slide
2. Click on the Introduction block in the slide
3. Expand the Appearance section in the properties panel
4. Click the arrow next to Solid Fill and select 'Image'
5. Import any image (from system or assets)
RESULT: No ability to set transparency, blur or brightness and contrast
EXPECTED: Ability to set transparency, blur, brightness and contrast1 vote -
Bug- New Captivate Image grid crashing application
I created a Jeopardy board using image grids. There were 5 rows 6 columns. After putting images for 1 row of 6, every time I'd save or left/right click an image, the screen will go blank. Then I click file on the top. The top bar disappears. I tried reinstalling it, but the same thing occurred. Couldnt work in the project anymore since it would keep crashing so had to create a new one.
