TOC & Playbar Menu Toggles are covered by screenshot in Simulations when in Desktop view
There is a bug with the display of a screenshot in Desktop mode of a Simulation. When you open the TOC and Playbar menu all the toggles are hidden behind the simulation screenshot

Samething for me and I'm not able to turn off the TOC in the playbar options.
