I really miss smart shapes and being able to put click boxes wherever I want on slides that are 'regular' slides, not software sim slides. For instance, if you have a map and want to make parts of the map clickable.

Hotspots are OK , you can change the opacity to 0 and have an invisible area to click... but I can't add an action to it to do something like take a user to another slide.

As a workaround I use a software simulation slide and change the background image. Then I add click boxes for the areas I want to be clickable and load images into highlight boxes for things like characters. Please see the attached image, I am not able to upload a .cpt file on this platform.

An interaction where you can add clickboxes anywhere you want in the block I would be happy to have! Especially if I can position images, text, etc underneath the click boxes.
