Review rendering of transparent background images
Transparent images in PNG or SVG format when used as background are showing a thin line like it was being tiled, even if the tile option is not selected.
In the example attached, I have a simple SVG with an angled corner used as background, and on the bottom-right corner it displays a line of the same colour.
The same happens with PNG images.

[Bug] Design Option “Image” does not respond correctly to grid styling
Version: 12.6
Problem:
The “Image” design option partially fails to respond to grid styling defined in thedesignOption.json. The elementcontainer-image-textdoes not occupy the designated grid-area because it is not a direct child of thecontainer-image-cardelement where the grid is applied. In Chrome DevTools, it is visible that the instruction
grid-area: 1 / 1 / span 1 / span 1;has no effect because the target element does not participate in the grid context.

[Feature] Option for image container to grow with text in the “Image” Design Option
Version: 12.6
Problem:
Currently, the image in the "Image" Design Option does not grow when the text blockcontainer-image-textincreases in height. There is no setting in either the Captivate GUI or thedesignOption.jsonto scale the image vertically along with its content.
In responsive layouts (e.g., hero sections, split layouts), this leads to unbalanced designs, awkward proportions, and unnecessary whitespace.
See screenshotsdesign-options_image-02.pnganddesign-options_image-03.png.Suggestion:
Add an optional setting that allows the image to:
- grow vertically with the text container
- maintain its aspect ratio (e.g., viaobject-fit)
- adapt responsively to varying content heights…1 vote -
[Feature] Extended background image options
Problem:
Current background image settings in Captivate are rather limited and don’t fully reflect the flexibility of CSS.Suggestion:
Add support for the following additional background-related properties and options:- Background attachment — Currently only
scrollis available. Addingfixedwould enable simple parallax effects. - Background position — Currently only horizontal alignment is supported. Vertical alignment (
top, center, bottom) and relative or absolute positioning (percent, pixels) should be possible. - Background repeat — Only
repeatis currently available. Separate control forrepeat-xandrepeat-ywould be useful. - Background size — Currently only
containandcover, as well…

Under Alignment - can you add a CENTER image/video option. Basic 101 need
Like all applications have - a way to clearly CENTER information/image on the page. Under ALIGNMENT - add CENTER.

Compare and Contrast Image/text media block
I want a media block that has an image in the center and two text blocks on the side to allow for a compare and contrast / pros and cons content.
I would also like for it to provide images on both sides and text in the middle.1 vote -
In-built states are missing from Captivate 12.2 [at least] for the Image Grid
It's easies to look at this file (https://envolvemedia.adobeconnect.com/pwafpzqrnced/default/builtInStatesLost.cpt) for an example:
- Slide 1 uses the Image Grid and the States for this grid are missing InBuilt states
- Slide 2 was copied from an older version of Captivate 12 and includes the InBuilt states for the same widgetNOTE: This page includes an In-Built States section, even though the InBuilt states are missing from the Image Grid Widget: https://helpx.adobe.com/captivate/help/states-adobe-captivate.html

Images on blocks do not have same properties as background images on slides (or image media block)
When setting an image for the background appearance of a block, you lose the ability to set transparency, blur, brightness and contrast.
1. Add an Introduction Slide
2. Click on the Introduction block in the slide
3. Expand the Appearance section in the properties panel
4. Click the arrow next to Solid Fill and select 'Image'
5. Import any image (from system or assets)
RESULT: No ability to set transparency, blur or brightness and contrast
EXPECTED: Ability to set transparency, blur, brightness and contrast1 vote
