I am unable to export text-to-speech audio from Captivate. This was a problem for us in Captivate 12 and continues to be a problem with 13. I attended the Adobe Learning Summit and spoke to the developers about it, but have not received a resolution.

We've had our IT group working with us on this and have some additional information. When Captivate is run as an administrator, the audio file will export to the main c:/users folder, even though another folder was selected to save the file in. In addition, it auto-names the file (with the first name of the logged-in user) and only allows that one file to be saved (unless you change the name of the previously saved file with that name). You have to be logged in as an admin on our system to even be able to save over that file, to rename it, or delete it.

I understand how it is supposed to be done, but it doesn't work. It gives me a dialogue box asking me to select the folder I want it to save the file to and then, after selecting the correct folder, it doesn't actually save the file there or anywhere. I have tried saving to multiple different locations (cloud drives, local hard drives, external hard drives) and nothing works.

Hi Ben,
You can export the audio from the timeline. Right -click the Audio > Export. Let me know if this works. If the issue still persist then kindly share more details or any screenshot that can help.
