When I add videos to new Captivate it does not extend the duration of the slide like it did in Classic Captivate.
So if I have 2 videos on a slide, I have to add up the time in my head, e.g. 8 mins, and go to the timeline and drag it to (60sec x 8 = 480 sec) which is annoying coz unlike Classic Captivate I can't just type somewhere to extend the slide duration.
Unfortunately I have to do this coz the TOC shows the slide duration so students are thinking each slide only takes a minute but…

Video demo has no Control panel on Timeline
Captivate Classic, Video Demo editor lost a lot of features. When switching to the editor, Timeline is no longer activated by default. You need to open it using the Window menu.
Moreover the control panel at the bottom of the Timeline, where you had tiny buttons for navigation, for trimming, splitting, add panning/zooming points, switch to mouse points editing has completely disappeared. It makes working with Video Demo a real pain.
Play/pause still is sometimes functional using the playbar, but that is not consistent (same as New Captivate). But for all other functionalities which were at the fingertips in previus…2 votes -
video webm format support
Today, the only format accepted by Captivate for videos is mp4. The webm format is more compressed than mp4, and would consume less bandwidth from the LMS.

Ease to copy/paste video bookmark actions (pause timeline)
This is an entire branching scenario that already has scenes made on PowToon. Clips per scene are usually 2 min long, and I have to put bookmarks to pause the timeline for each dialogue bubble. The problem is that bookmark actions can't be copied/pasted, and I have to manually select an action for book mark. It's going to take me forever to finish them all.

slide video controls
The Slide Video block needs to be rebuilt. What is expected is that this behave like an event video since this is how billions of users on You Tube et. al. interact with content on the web. Here is how it could work: Add video block to slide. Select Autofit height - video fills the block appropriately to project dimensions. Any additional blocks added to the slide should respect the autofit setting and not create an extended scroll. Furthermore, all of these settings should be respected in responsive design to each device (Desktop, Tablet, Phone). Lastly, the video should have…

The new Adobe Captivate version lacks the ability to restrict the video seekbar—a key feature for ensuring learner engagement and compliance in eLearning. In many training scenarios, it's important to prevent users from skipping ahead or fast-forwarding through video content. Ideally, the seekbar should be locked until the video has been watched completely. Once the video is fully viewed, users can then be allowed to fast-forward or rewind for review purposes. This functionality was available in Adobe Captivate Classic and is essential for maintaining the integrity of learning paths. Please consider adding this feature to the new version to support…

[Feature] Wrap VideoCaption and VideoBody in their own container
Caption and Body should be nested in their own parent element for flexible layout, e.g.:
<container-video-grid> <container-video-grid-card> <video></video> <videoText> <videoCaption></videoCaption> <videoBody></videoBody> </videoText> </container-video-grid-card> </container-video-grid>Benefit: Easier layout control, consistent spacing, flexible arrangement of video and text.

[Bug] Remove inline height on page generation
Captivate currently injects a fixed inline height (220px) into Video Grid containers at page generation:
<div id="videoContainer_si78699" class="videoContainer" data-desktop-height="220" automation-id="slidevideo:::container_aspectratio" style="height: 220px; width: 100%;">This prevents proper responsive behavior and overrides custom CSS.
Expected behavior: No fixed inline height should be injected. Instead, the container should default to
height: 100%, so that its size can be fully controlled by parent elements defined in thedesignOption.json.1 vote -
Height for Video Grid
It should be possible to specify a height for Video Grid elements in the Custom Styles, similar to Slide Videos:
Example: "videoHeight": 4001 vote -
web link video interactions
When having a web link for a video and trying to interact with it it doesn't register, for example having a button disabled on Enter Slide and then enable it by the interaction "Objects Clicked" pointed at the video and that video is not a regular video but a web link video it doesn't work, needless to say that when using a regular video it does indeed work.

Allow videos to be split across multiple slides.
One of the main reasons we use Captivate is to allow LMS bookmarking in videos. We spread the video over multiple Captivate slides, so that it will return users more or less to where they left off. Our LMS doesn't do this. The new Cp no longer allows us to do this, so we continue using the old Cp.

Need to be able to scale video to fit slide. Basic 101.
Unable to move the Video to the center of the slide and scale it. It does not scale, and it does not leave the top of the page, unless I add Top padding. But adding padding is not an option b/c it fills it black and it is unbalanced top and bottom. I can not delete the color behind the video.

Allow autoplay of event video upon slide enter.
Using version 12.5, it would be helpful to have the option to force an event video to play automatically upon slide enter.

Change source on videos in a Video Media Block
How do you change the SOURCE for videos in a Video Media Block?
I added a web source URL to a Video. I want to change that URL. However, there doesn't seem to be any way to edit or change a video source once added
