  3. Certificate widget exits the slide unexpectedly

I have a certificate widget on the last slide of my project. The Certificate Download is toggled ON. I have noticed on several occasions that when I try to click the Certificate Download icon in the top right of the certificate, the project exits and completes the exit action specified in the Preferences > Project > Project End, before I can click on the Certificate Download icon. I have added two buttons below the certificate widget, and the expected behavior is that I have all the time I need to click the Certificate Download icon, and then click one of…

  4. Certificate widget download takes a long time and truncates text in the certificate

When you click the download icon for a certificate, it takes a suprisingly long time, with no visual feedback that anything is happening. The background image and text throughout the certificate is truncated. Other than using a screen capture tool, there is no way for the user to get a usable certificate. The certificate is also very large, at over 5 megabytes in size. Attached is the correct certificate (captured using SnagIt) and the annotated certificate that Captivate 12.6.0.63 currently provides.

  5. Certificate download file size and missing "save as" option

The "Download" button saves a file with fixed name "captivate-certificate-[n].pdf" with an index n.
    1. ICan the user please be prompted with a system dialog to save with a file name and to a location of his/her choice?
    2. The PDF contains a rasterized image of poor quality (see text sample attached) but astonishing size (~5 MB). Can the file please be configured to be as small as possible, with a printable text quality as fitting for a respectable certificate?
