The newest update pushes all content left-aligned when published and in preview mode; however, when designing, it shows with the spacing.

Text Box Functionality
Make inputting text into a text box more responsive.
I often find I am clicking a text box 3-4 times just to add or change text inside of a text box. Once I get into the text block I then need to click where I want the cursor to be, but it just unclicks the text block and I have to go through the process again. It's not difficult to click multiple times, but after having to do this to 50+ text blocks this simple little action can get very annoying very quickly.
Maybe implementing a single click into the…1 vote -
We have encountered screen freezing issue in Captivate Quiz if there are some disruption/network disconnect
We have encountered screen freezing issue in Captivate Quiz if there are some disruption/network disconnect. The learners are stuck in a question where options and submit button are disabled. Using Skip button is not a good resolution for us. We request at least these two features to consider Captivate as an authoring tool that meets our requirements:
• Resume/Restart bookmark popup in LMS (Not only one of them)
• Ability to add bookmark in Question screen timeline1 vote -
Bug on slide interaction
I have created an If Condition that shows a text field if 3 checkboxes are ticked. If they are not ticked the text is hidden.
Here's the issue:
When entering this slide and ticking the correct boxes the text stays hidden - BUT when going to the previous or next slide and then back to this slide the text is shown.
Is this a bug or am I doing smth wrong?
I also tried it with making the "hide during publish" but that's not working at all with the needed conditions. Please help me, thanks!

Complex calculation expression
I have what i thought was a fairly simple calculations I wanted to set up and unable to do in Captivate 12. I have three variables, TotalBounce, Q1 and Q2. I want TotalBounce=Q1 + Q2. I cannot make this work with the current expression since that only allows an add, subtract, multiple, or divide a value of a variable by a number (not another variable).

Improve the Accordion Widget with enabling next button after navigation
Implement the possibility of only making the "Next" button visible after the user has navigated all or some of the tabs. Or at least, that we can assign interactions to its tabs buttons so we can turn visibility of buttons or work with variables.

Bug: Quiz Results "Continue" Button not working
In Captivate 12.6, the Continue button no longer stops the slide and waits for the user to click. Once the timeline hits the end, the slide moves on or the course ends, depending on how you have your settings. There is no way to set any actions on the button either.

Course Crashes when pasting formatted text into a text box
I have a lesson on AI that asks the user to paste the results into the text box to verify they completed the task. When a user clicks the "Copy" button at the bottom of ChatGPT and tries to paste that into a Captivate textbox, the course crashes. The text box should only allow "plain text" to paste and remove any formatting - or add a rich text box which would allow for additional formatting to be pasted.

Text formatting is off after importing translated caption and closed caption word file
The import of translated caption and closed caption word file is not helping my purpose, as the font size, color and formatting are going off. Especially if I have a text box with two words in two different font size/style/color.

BUG!
Assets panels again...
When using the Assets panel, if you use the search field to find a template and choose to insert it, it never stops loading.
Adobe Support has suggested scrolling down to find what you need, instead of searching for what you need. Not good enough. This bug needs to be fixed ASAP!
The new Adobe Captivate looks a lot like an unfinished product, puts Adobe's reputation at risk. I use other Adobe products since 1994 and have never seen anything so inconsistent.

menus
Can you add everything back into menus? I just want to publish and what not, without having to find the right button on the screen. Just have menus with all the commands. People can ignore them if they want.

split closed captions
I wish there was a way to position the playhead, then position the cursor in the caption, the split it into two captions. Even better, it would be great it if you could type in one caption, then set a number of words/characters and Captivate could split the caption up itself. Instead of this useful stuff, all we get is a little yield sign in the upper right telling us the huge caption will obscure the screen.

Paste Special and/or Without Formatting
When I copy/paste between text blocks and closed captioning, I really want it to paste without formatting. I have to reset the formatting in my caption everytime I paste.

Closed Captions Editing is Glitchy
When working with closed captions, my cursor disappears and it is difficult to see where I am editing, if I am editing at all. I have to select all and click to get the cursor to show or to reposition it. After selecting all and clicking, I can use arrow keys to move it, but it no longer shows on screen.

The labels are not changing in my project when I change them under preferences
When I open quizzing labels under preferences, I am able to change the default labels to my desired statement. However, when I run a preview on the slide, the labels are back to the system default labels, not the statement I chose.

Fix a number of issues in the assets panel.
A lot of Thumbnails for slide templates do not appear in the Assets panel, instead there's a "broken link" image. It is impossible to identify which template you are using.
There's no indication of what kind of template they are. A title like "Title and Image" or "Character and text" or "Multiple Choice" would be useful to identify which template you need.
There could be an option to increase the thumbnail size, to better choose what you need.
The insert process is way too slow, even with a good internet connection.…
