Bug: Hotspots move when changing the window size
If you change the window size, the hotspots move away from their fixed positions. If you repeat this behaviour, the hotspots move further and further outwards until they are no longer accessible.

Bug: White screen instead of course
Randomly (probably 20% of the time) a blank white screen appears instead of courses built using new Captivate. This happens in our current LMS (Taleo), the LMS we are currently switching to (Workday), and SCORM Cloud. I've tested both SCORM 1.2 and SCORM 2004 3rd ed. using SCORM Cloud and received the same results as our LMS. I have the completion criteria set to Quiz is passed.
When the course does not load, this is the error displayed in Chrome Dev Tools:

Support for Image Background in the Theme Editor
The Theme Editor allows you to change colors for the Slide Background, but you can't add an image? Add support to set an Image Background for all slides in the Theme Editor

More than one checkbox
I'm not sure why the Checkbox interaction only allows for one checkbox. It would be helpful not to add another block for additional checkboxes. Instead, selecting the number of checkboxes I wish to include in the block would be helpful, similar to how I would do it with radio buttons.

language of the project
In the accessibility panel, we can select a language for each block. For now, it need to be changed manually for each block. It would be useful to select the language by default in the project settings. As I develop french content, I need to change manually each block language.

Allow reset of Radio Button interaction on slide revisit
Captivate 2023 issue. When a user returns to a slide with the Radio Button component on it the component always displays the state the user left it. Please provide a way to reset the component to a non-selected state

Allow us to change the underline color of a link
When I linked some text, a light pink/purple line displayed under the linked text. I did not find where to change that color on the properties, nor the theme. Pinky/Purple is not one of our brand colors.

Separator block
A separator block should been available like in WordPress to add HR line, space.

Allow for full editing of the quiz captions
Currently, the font, text size, and text color of the captions on the quiz slides cannot be edited. Through Theme Editor, the caption backgrounds can be changed for success and error, but not for incomplete. The message content can be edited through Preferences, but there is no way to change the font, text size, and text color. This poses accessibility issues as there is often not enough contrast for these messages.

Bug: button action "Exit course" does not work in Prime/ALM/other LMS
This behaviour is known since Captivate 2019. I think some LMS developers decided to protect their LMS from beeing closed entirely by this one button inside one web-based training. There were reports back in 2018 about Captivate 2017 and 2019 from customers who closed the WBT and simultanously their whole LMS window. We had to attach our own Javascript to "Quit course" buttons on a regular basis for many differnt LMS to protect our users.
Great, if you could find a solution to be able to use this action at all.

Bug - On slide entrance interaction, Hide components not working correctly
When I set a slide entrance interaction, such as to hide components, I can see all hidden components for a split second and then they hide. Currently unusable.

Fix / make possible animated SVG files (as hotspot icons in hotspot widget)
It's possible to replace one hotspot icon in the hotspot widget with an animated SVG file (the file itself is animated, no captivate animation is used) and the animation works. However, if you try replacing more than one hotspot icon, the animation stops working (as shown in the attached GIFs).

All animations are buggy
When using animations for text options, they are extremely buggy. On a 15 slide training about 10% of the animations caused text to just not show up when looking at it with local preview. When the animations were removed, it worked fine. Sometimes animations would make a slide not even appear. It seems to be consistent with multiple animations.
Also when using animations, sometimes all the elements will show as the slide loads for a quick frame and then disapear. When not using animations this does not seem to happen.

Usage Variables
Please, restore the possibility to see if and where user variables are used in a project. This is very important, als partially due to a bug created a while ago that variables sometimes get duplicated without any warning about the reason, and they get of course a number added to their name in that process to keep the uniqueness of the names. It is now really a clunky workflow to try to find out why the variable was created and which one is used where.

Control the size of an icon inside a button or hotspot
Need full control over the size of an icon inside a button(except S/M/L). You can only control the size of the button/padding arround it.
Need full control over size of button. S/M/L is not enough.
Need full customisation of buttons via import of SVGs, not just the icon inside the button. (This can be achieved by inserting an SVG and making it interactive but being able to create and save new buttons would be much better UX.)

Add Closed Captions to pop up and object audio.
Closed captions should be available to edit in bulk or easily in some way. There should also be a way to caption object and pop up sound to be fully 508 compliant.

Add More Buttons. Need more than three (3) Built-In.
Currently the BUTTONS option is only three (3) buttons - need more. Our Learners/Employees need forced navigation. We want to use the built-in Buttons, but three (3) will not work. Minimum of Five would work well.

Allow easy reordering of objects for screen reader optimization
Currently we only have control over the tab order of active objects (buttons and links) in Tab Order; to change the order that items are read by a screen reader we have to rearrange the timeline order, which is extremely cumbersome for complex pages. Make this easier to edit so we can more efficiently develop accessible content for screen readers in Captivate
