CSV import - numerical character issue
Can't import CSV files if any of the cells START with numerical characters. In order for the import to work, I have to add alphabetical characters in front of the numerical ones. I then have to go clean up the quiz questions in Captivate and remove those letters. It's time consuming and allows for unnecessary errors.

Character block not displaying characters as expected
I used the character block with the standard design option. Added my own images and the result when previewed isn't what it looked like in design mode. I would love to know what I've done wrong.

Poses missing from Asset Library
I went to add some characters to a conversation block today and found that while I could select the character, there were no poses to select from the asset window.

Open URL or File Incompatible with Share for Review
When I have buttons that open a PDF file using the Open URL or File action, my PDF isn't published with Share for Review. This adds steps to my Share for Review workflow that I prefer I would not have to do.

Share for Review Show Slide Number for Quick and Easy Revisions
In the Share for Review feature, it would be helpful to know what slide number a reviewer comments on so developers can navigate quickly to that slide. Many eLearning modules have slides that look the same, especially question slides, so knowing the slide number would be helpful.

Blur does'nt work in preview
There is an issue with the blur area in software simulations with Captivate 12.4. When viewing the preview, the blur area does not hide the element on which it was placed in the project. Same thing when changing the view for phone or tablet devices in the preview.

Buttons are not taking the correct Breakpoints for responsiveness
I created a quiz with multiple choice questions. Uploaded it to the Adobe ALM. Tested it in Safari on an ipad PRO and the buttons are not displaying properly in landscape mode.

When I add videos to new Captivate it does not extend the duration of the slide like it did in Classic Captivate.
So if I have 2 videos on a slide, I have to add up the time in my head, e.g. 8 mins, and go to the timeline and drag it to (60sec x 8 = 480 sec) which is annoying coz unlike Classic Captivate I can't just type somewhere to extend the slide duration.
Unfortunately I have to do this coz the TOC shows the slide duration so students are thinking each slide only takes a minute but…

More Components in widgets, Customize my layout adjust the alignment
in the drag and drop widget, I can only add 6 drag components which is too less at least it should be 20. Similar issues In other widgets. Also, I can't customize the layout of my own too many editing limitations, can't edit designs of my own plus the suggested designs are very few.

Custome fonts not working
We recently created a course in Captivate 12 using custom fonts and published it as a SCORM package for the client. During the client's review, they flagged an issue, that the fonts did not appear correctly.
After meeting with the client, we discovered that the issue was due to the custom fonts not being installed on their system. While installing the fonts locally resolved the issue, this is not a sustainable solution, as the client's large user base cannot be expected to install these fonts individually.
The font ‘IBM Plex Sans’ is available on the Google Fonts site, but it’s…

Bug: Web Link doesn't work if prior text is Italics or Bold
When you add a web link, if any text prior to the link is modified (other than plain ... like bold, underline or italics), the resulting web link does not work on the slide.

Out of tries message on results slide
The results slide only shows feedback for success or failure. Since you can limit the number of attempts a student can try the quiz, I would like to have an Out of Tries type message that would be triggered when the student has used up their attempts and failed the last attempt at the quiz. This way, I can write something like please see your supervisor for the next steps. I have a workaround, but I always prefer Adobe Captivate to have the built-in functionality. It makes development much more effortless. Here is the workaround: https://youtu.be/6Z-bU8DXlu4

Restrict Navigation until Slide End
Many stakeholders request that navigation be turned off until the slide/audio completes, i.e., forced navigation. In order to accomplish this currently, I have to either create my own navigation buttons or hide the playbar upon slide enter and show it at the end of the slide. The latter option isn't feasible because users can no longer toggle closed caption on/off while audio is playing. Both workaround options are time consuming.
I propose adding a feature that allows the developer to disable only the forward button (not the entire playbar) until the slide audio completes.

BUG - Captivate (12.4) buttons automatically stack on mobile when multiple in same object
On new Captivate (12.4) buttons automatically stack if there are more than one (side by side) on mobile even when there is horizontal space. This can give a horrible user experience and needs to be corrected to be properly responsive.

Add ability to restrict the 'drag card' area so it is NOT MOVEABLE
Currently the user can move the area for the options all over the screen and OFF the screen, meaning if they accidentally move it it can cause them to get stuck in the activity unable to complete the activity.

IPAD/IPHONE Accessibility Issue Adobe Captivate 12.4
We have developed a course using Adobe Captivate 12.4 and are testing its accessibility on iPad and iPhone with VoiceOver enabled. We are encountering the following issues:
We have added multiple-choice questions using Adobe Captivate’s default Multiple Choice Question slide template. When selecting an option, the focus unexpectedly moves to the sidebar instead of staying on the selected option. This issue only occurs on iPad and iPhone; on Mac and Windows, the focus remains on the chosen option.
When selecting any interactive button—such as the "Next" button on the playbar or the "Table of Contents" button—the focus shifts to an…

Overlay text over an image - image over image placement
It is nice to overlay images with texts. e.g. to number pictures or putting adding a text to a picture like the Smartforms in CPC.
Placing Text over a picture will help in several cases to have a better user guidance.
Additionally image over image might help too. E.g a printscreen of a software and putting 1. 2. 3 above the screen according to the audio instruction.1 vote -
different boxes not only up til down - but also from left to right
Hi, normally you can add elements which are from top til down.
But sometimes it is helpful for design issues when we can put elements (pictures, texts, buttons, graphics) from left to right. So there is more flexibility in designing the slide.
