Bug - using arrow keys removes text
When using the arrow keys to update text in a Software Simulation text box, any text entered disappears and goes back to the default 'Type instruction here' message. Seems this is just prior to saving and only using up and down keys.

Bug: Captivate chrashes when selecting the feedback of a clickbox in simulation mode
After recording a simulation, I wanted to format the feedback via status. Evertime I select the text in the feedeback and then click on "Text" in the properties (yellow marker, Bug1), Captivate chrashes (Bug2).
This always happens - both in existing and new projects.
I'm using version 12.0.0.2892 on Windows 10

Issue: online connection must always be maintained to avoid crashes
Without staying online all the time, Captivate won't work reasonable. Is there any chance to work offline? It seems there is a sync to APIs all the time. In times of crashing internet access this leads to crashes and unlimited loading bar.

Bug: horizontal button position offset in export and preview
It is a regular bug in all exports and previews. The button position inside a media block has an horizontal offset. It looks ok in the live view in Captivate Charm.

Bug- New Captivate Image grid crashing application
I created a Jeopardy board using image grids. There were 5 rows 6 columns. After putting images for 1 row of 6, every time I'd save or left/right click an image, the screen will go blank. Then I click file on the top. The top bar disappears. I tried reinstalling it, but the same thing occurred. Couldnt work in the project anymore since it would keep crashing so had to create a new one.

Ability to add custom company specific training videos
It would be nice to add company specific video links to the Learn panel on the Welcome screen.

Fixing Quiz continue with "J" in german version.
In the german version of Captivate 12.0.0.2892 continue in Quiz after submit with "J" don't work, but with "Y".

Enable CTRL click to multi select and apply appearance.
CTRL click would be helpful to multi select and apply appearance to several objects at once.

BUG: Using fit for image results in broken alignment
Using fit will only allow the image to be centered, overriding previously set image focus.

History panel (like all the other programs that have it)
Add a history panel that allows you to see and return to listed states, similar to photoshop and illustrator.

Allow copy and paste from illustrator and photoshop to add vector elements and images.

It would be great if the images in the background had parallax functionality or at the very least was fixed while scrolling.

Slide titles, add all characters, allow duplicate names
Please make it so slide titles can use any keyboard character and have multiple slides with the same title.

Ensure font consistency based on Theme Editor; ensure consistent "fall-back" fonts
If a user does not have fonts listed in the theme editor, the fall-back font use appears inconsistent. For example, two boxes on the same slide may both be selected as Heading 6 but appear as two completely different fonts to the viewer.
Even when using basic fonts available to all users, some learners see a different font than I see in the preview and published modes. Fonts are, at time, inconsistent to what I have in the preset fonts for the module.
Ensuring font consistency is crucial to the deployment of a professionally streamlined product.

Slide video sometimes restarts the video
I have several slides with slide video blocks, each of which displays a different MP4 video file. The project is hosted on a web server, not an LMS. I noticed that when I updated the videos, and re-uploaded the project to the web server, the videos would often spontaneously restart anywhere from 3 to 10 seconds into the video. The problem was more pronounced after I cleared my browser (Edge) cache, and the restart problem seemed to go away after I ran the project a few times. Use the Project Name in Preferences for the tab description, rather than the filename
Currently there is a line in the assets > js > project.js file as follows:
pN:'My Captivate project filename.cpt'
The value for pN is set to the filename and extension of the Captivate Project. This is also the value that is shown as the browser tab description when running the project in a browser. It would be better if, instead of showing the filename - which has little interest to the user - it instead shows the Project Name under Project Information in the Preferences. The Project Name can be set to something meaningful to the user, which would likely…

Bug - Tabs Widget does not show correctly in preview
When using the Tabs Widget in captivate all looks fine but in preview in Horizontal Mobile (only) all texts is cramped into the right side. When you remove the image element there is no such problem. It seems that the picture does not resize, therefore not space is left for the text. It is a shame because this widget has a lot of use cases in learning. See attached media. Any idea of fixes will be welcomed.

very slow
product very slow in responding. Takes a lot of time to load even inbuilt videos. sometimes crashes. I am on win 11 AMD Ryzen 5 3450U with Radeon Vega Mobile Gfx 8GB Memory 1TB SSD
