  1. Add GIF as a supported filetype for Image Background on the slide

    If you use a media block, GIF files are listed in the filetypes dropdown. However, if you use 'Image background' for the slide, GIF files are not listed in the filetypes dropdown. If you manually enter the path to a GIF, they import as expected.

  2. The matching interaction, in the file provided, is not scored and all future interactions do not work.

    The matching interaction in the file provided is not "scored" and any interactions in slides that appear after that slide will not work.

    2. Open the .cpt file
    3. Publish
    4. Browse the files manually open the index.htm and/or upload the resulting ZIP into an LMS. Do NOT just "preview".
    5. Answer all of the questions RESULT: After answer question 4 (the matching slide), it shows you answered correctly. But it doesn't actually score that question (if you delete questions 5 and 6 and publish again, you'll see what…

  3. Multi Slide Synchronized Video

    This is an issue with Classic Captivate that I discovered with a client. When I select a video that is set to span across several slides and edit the transition markers between slides, I cannot change the duration of each slide as I was able to in the past.

  5. Ability to hover as a way to proceed on a slide

    Ability to hover over an area on screen to proceed on a slide like you could before Flash went away for Adobe Captivate. This would only be for courses viewed on a desktop. Many simulations have hover actions.

  7. Project Properties - Bug

    I have noticed that the UI Components in Edit Theme will not allow me to select and change certain colors. I am unable to change button colors even if it is a preset color. Also, Edit Theme removes colors from my preset. All UI Components are experiencing issues customizing the colors.

  8. Languages for text to speech, windows language support.

    In Classic Captivate its possible to add text to speech support for languages supported from Microsoft Windows own (local) library. That feature would be much needed i guess for a lot of people, and could be considered a quick fix for massive language support instead of having a Captive Voices implementation.

  9. Animation on a block

    It would be a time saver to be able to add an animation to a block. For now, only components of a block can have animation.

    For example, if a block have a background, the block can't be animated.

  10. Bug: You can add a button to the paragraph card but you cannot assign an action to it.

    If you select the paragraph card from the timeline in the tabs widget you get the option add a button. I thought this would be a good solution to not being able to see the image in the widget large enough, i could at least add a button that opens a version of the image in a new window. However, while you can format the button like normal, you cannot select the interactions menu to assign it to do anything. So it's just a dead button.

  11. BUG - font is stripped when sub or super script is used.

    When I choose to make a character (letter or number) a super or sub script, the font removes all capitalization. Doesn't seem right...

  12. Make zoom optional

    When you hover over a card, it automatically zooms in. If you've used a headshot image, it's odd that it zooms in on their face. Zoom in on hover should be optional

  13. Quizzing Preferences

    There is still a category Quizzing under Preferences. However some of the preferences have been moved to the Properties panel of the Results slide: Attempts on quiz level, Pass/Fail actions etc... They used to be in the Quizzing Preferences under Pass/Fail.
    However you can build a 'Quiz' by using only scored objects (formerly labeled as Custom questions). In that case the Results slide is NOT added automatically and you don't have access to its Properties. It would be better to move Pass/Fail again to Quiz Preferences.

  14. Shortcut key Preferences

    BUG: the shortcut key to open Preferences is CTRL-,
    That shortcut key is NOT functional on any other keyboard than the US keyboard. Why not get back to the original shortcut key which always worked in previous versions: SHIFT-F8.
    Using a punctuation mark in a shortcut key is always a bad idea, because its location is not fixed, depends on keyboard.
    BTW I use an AZERTY keyboard, thanks for fixing the beta bug CTRL-Z.

  16. Bug: issue after choosing desktop fonts in a custom template saved by the user

    After updating the custom text block custom preset the style, font-family and size looks ok. When opening the project file next time, the preset settings are gone, totally differnt. Looks like saved incorrectly by captivate.

  17. Timeline missing feature - on entrance of component into timeline, pause timeline

    It would be very useful a feature to have a feature, whereby the timeline could be paused upon a component entering the timeline.

  18. Make the answer window moveable

    When I am inputting and selecting answers while building a match the column slide, the window partially blocks the view of the slide, and I don't seem to be able to move it. It would be nice to be able to move it.

  19. LMS Upload Issue

    Even though I have adjusted the publish settings to SCORM 1.2, when I try to upload the new zipped file into my LMS I get the following error message: "File type not allowed: main.chunk.js.br". Please advise.

  20. Provide a simple export of program variables to an internal server

    I don't see any utility to capture user data, perhaps I am missing something. The system that classic Captivate uses is confusing. I just want to be able to import a file of user variables from my server where the program lives that I can accomplish using FileZilla for example.
