    It is easier for us to automatically set our slide background images and text.

    It would be awesome to add an AI text to speech generator. There are some other independent sites for this (mostly paid), and the quality is far superior to normal text to speech.

  3. Preview without the device icons at the top

    A viewer of my YouTube channel suggested this idea, and I think it might be beneficial. Could we have an option to preview a project truly as it would be published, i.e., without the device preview icons at the top of the page? We certainly can resize our browsers to simulate what different devices might look like. Perhaps the icons have outlived their usefulness, or perhaps this is an option that can be turned on or off in the preferences window.

  4. To move over to use New captivate - I am missing to be able to format TOC with fonts and color backgrounds like in old version

    Formatting the TOC. Option to place it on Left and right, Option of fonts color of background color.

  5. Add pause to a triggered object audio

    I would love to see a pause method added to a triggered object audio. So, for instance, if a button has audio assigned to it (via Play Media, not slide audio), then clicking the button would play the audio, clicking again would pause the audio, clicking the button again would restart the audio from where it was paused, and so on.

  6. Spell Check

    Captivate Classic allowed spell-checking text, including closed captions. Let's bring this functionality back in the all-new Captivate!

  7. Bug - Cannot Add Slide Video Block

    When I click Add Media Block >> Slide Video, the program crashes. I cannot add videos at all, and I've lost unsaved work. My IT folks uninstalled and reinstalled my program and it did not help.

  8. Missing options in UI elements in Theme

    When setting up a Theme, all options which are available individually on slides should be available in the setup for a custom Theme. Here are two examples where I could't find how to do a full setup, both for Quiz slides:
    1. Radio buttons: you can only set up the Normal state, not the other states needed in quiz slides (Hover, Selected, Disabled (selected), Disabled. Moreover it is not possible to change the border width.
    2. Checkboxes: similar to the radio buttons, only the fill color and the border color of the Normal state can be set up.

  9. Rearranging states - change default state

    I would like to be able to rearrange the sequence of the states, or have a copy/paste possibility. At this moment only the duplicate (CTRL-D) is available but the duplicates cannot be moved. Since I have a touch screen I would prefer to be able to use the touch feature, but can live with using the mouse or trackpad as well.
    Moreover it would be great to be able to choose another default state than the first one created. I solve that at this moment by using an interaction triggered by the On Enter slide event, but since there are…

  10. Fix back button

    Some time takes you to previous slide, some times no.

  11. More than 4 SVGs in a content block

    Just like you should be able to add more than 3 buttons you should be able to add more than 4 SVGs to a content block.

  12. Align slide directions with direction of step being taken

    When a user click in the forward direction it makes sense to have a default slide direction with the next slide coming from the right. But when they click in the backwards direction, it is visually confusing to have a previous slide arrive from the same (future) direction.
    Like turning pages in a book, going back should not look the same as going forward.

  13. ProjectLockTOC not functional

    That system variable used to be able to block all navigation by TOC. However when assigning the value True to it, the learner is still allowed to navigate to any slide.

  14. Delay interactions by precise interval of time

    In Captivate Classic you could create an advanced action that was "delayed by" some duration. I would like to have that option in All-New.

  16. Ability to Import SRT File for Video Closed Captions

    Why do we have to manually enter closed captioning for the video slide? Or, have to figure out a work-around by 'baking' closed captioning into the original MP4 file? It would be great to have the ability to import the SRT file and attach it to a video slide (whether as an event video or synchronized). And turn on/off the closed captioning when desired.

  17. timing

    Support for timing. If a button, as an example, should not appear until the end of a video - there's no way to use a property/setting to change the timing for when the button should appear. Currently, the only way is to drag the beginning of the button manually on the timeline - and that is "buggy" if you have to drag beyond the time visible in the timeline. The timing properties should include Appear After (for when the item should start to appear) and the length of appearance (at least second-based; and for rest of slide values)

  18. Do not switch on automatic panning by default. It's too sensitive and not really used that often. Make the default setting 'No panning'

  19. Link javascript file to project

    Include an option to link an external javascript file to a Captivate project. In Cp 12 in particular such a link would be good in the "Project properties" under PUBLISH SETTINGS. An external js file would allow a sophisticated use of moderrn JS within a project. It would also go along well with the concept of ADD JAVASCRIPT CODE TO THE PUBLISHED HTML AT RUNTIME, formulated on https://helpx.adobe.com/uk/captivate/help/javascript-interface-adobe-captivate.html.

    Why do you not allow importing csv files for quizzes? I have 1000s of question and I have to manually input every single question? I will go w Thinkific solely for this reason. This new update is not helpful or useful and definitely not productive. I loved the old version.
