Click box interaction
I really miss smart shapes and being able to put click boxes wherever I want on slides that are 'regular' slides, not software sim slides. For instance, if you have a map and want to make parts of the map clickable.
Hotspots are OK , you can change the opacity to 0 and have an invisible area to click... but I can't add an action to it to do something like take a user to another slide.
As a workaround I use a software simulation slide and change the background image. Then I add click boxes for the areas I…

Knowledge check slide icon
I really miss the little icon that would display in the filmstrip under knowledge check slides. It was great to be able to tell at a glance which question slides were KCs and which were graded. I feel like I have to go to each slide and check in the property inspector now, which takes more time.

Merged Actions to be Default
I'm finding that as I write more and more actions almost always merge actions. Could you make merged the default and split would be an option?

Duplicate conditions in interaction
When creating an interaction I often need multiple conditional decisions (only THEN) to cope with different situations. Often those dedicions are similar. Captivate Classic allows to duplicate a decision, and edit it. Example: I want to add an end slide to a quiz which is available in two languages. Multistate objects are used for a character and two texts, and there are 4 possible situations: Pass+language1, Fail+language1, Pass+language2, Fail+language2. That means 4 decisions in the interaction which are very similar. I cannot find out how to duplicate the decisions. Result: I have to do the same workflow 4 times from…

Add an Advanced Actions Description Field
Please add a description field to the Advanced Actions window, where we can type a brief description of what the advanced action does, expected outcomes, etc. This would be especially helpful when working in teams.

Hyperlink interaction
At this moment you can only create a hyperlink for a component, not for a selected word or text part. This means that you need to insert a text block for each hyperlink you want to insert. It is good practice to make that hyperlink visible to the user, which means applying a new text style. At this moment that is not happening automatically like in previous versions.
I would prefer to be able to attach an URL (or a file) to a word or a text part in a text and at least get the automatic underline. It would…19 votesFeature is available in 12.4.

Delay interactions by precise interval of time
In Captivate Classic you could create an advanced action that was "delayed by" some duration. I would like to have that option in All-New.

Bug: Video slide and 'go to next slide'
If a video slide is created, and then an interaction to 'go to next slide' is added, although the testing in edit mode shows it working, when the project is previewed or published it does not work. The slide pauses and does not advance to the next slide as intended.

Advanced Actions
Please allow us to create advanced actions. For instance, I need to be able to redirect a student who didn't pass the exam to the content. If they pass an exam, I need some JavaScript that will take them back to our LMS. This is impossible in the new Captivate - at least that I've found.

Quiz Slide Enter trigger: restore please!
In all previous versions it was possible to use the On Enter event of a quiz slide as trigger. Not the On Exit, because that functionality was taken over by the Success/Last Attempt actions.
I use this event all the time in Captivate Classic. It is even more needed in the new version, due to the many required workarounds. One example:
I have answered already multiple times the request to get rid of the feedback messages in the New version on quiz slides. It is a lot of trouble compared with Captivate Classic, by making the states in the multistate…2 votes -
Dynamic bookmarks
First goal of 'bookmarking' is to enable micro-navigation. However New Captivate can only create static bookmarks. It is not possible to create dynamic bookmarks generated on runtime. This was possible using the Movie Control category of system variables combined with Movie Information variables. Examples for the Adobe forum:
1. Having a button on a long (video) slide allowing to move to a Help slide, and come back to resume the video where it was left.
2. Having a button which allows to navigate forward or back for a time segment (like 20secs) on a long slide whenever it was clicked.2 votes -
Conditional or advanced interactions are slow and not very glanceable.
What was nice about Adobe Captivate Classic was that I could glance at the advanced action window and quickly determine the triggers and subsequent actions. The interactions panel hides much of its content, making it difficult to see the work that has already been performed and see what is yet to write. I want Captivate to display more details about what conditions and actions have already been performed.

Add extra actions to the widgets
When you add a tab widget it would be nice to be able to add our own actions to the buttons, this would allow us to add our own custom validation or extra text to appear after all tabs have been seen.
I would expect the actions to make the widget would be locked but we could add extra.
Another example would be to use the flip card widget as a way to create a knowledge check or show images if certain combinations are selected.

Create a process widget
Create a process widget. It would be great to have a process widget. The old version was a circle which is nice, but there could also be a horizontal option that shows a process for instances that do not repeat themselves in a cycle.

Please add the ability to add AT LEAST 2 buttons to each flip card to make it accessible for the user to start and stop or pause the audio.

layout change request - mobile view
On mobile the widget slider layout does not look user friendly. Navigational buttons should not appear left/right. Because there is no margin/padding Setting, there is no room left for customizing.
