Create a java script or interaction that will rewind audio. When attaching audio to a slide, the learner cannot rewind the audio.
Currently, it is possible to use JavaScript to create a button to rewind video files within the captivate project, however, there is no similar functionality available for audio files attached to slides. This limitation impacts the learner's ability to revisit specific parts of the audio content.
I recommend adding an option under the interactions section or as part of the timeline settings that enables users to rewind audio attached to a slide. This feature could allow creators to configure rewind increments of 5, 10, and/or 15 seconds(or provide custom intervals). This functionality would make it easier to review the content…

Allow Highlight box on image slides
I have screen shot images in which I want to point out items using a highlight but there is no option if you are using a slide with an image. This seems only possible on a simulation slide. Same with hover box or or button. I can only add a button at the bottom using the widget, but I can't overlay an interaction on my screen shot.

TOC - Drag & Drop operation not working properly
The drag and drop features are not working correctly in the TOC. This is happening in 12.4 & 12.5. Create a larger project. Try dragging and dropping TOC items from the bottom of the TOC list to the top. The scroll does not work properly. If you scroll using the mouse wheel, the item you are trying to drop is lost from the drag operation. It seems you can only drop an item a few entries or else it drops in a random place or back in it's original position within the list.

Check for update
In Adobe Captivate, the only way to check the version and/or see if there is an update is to create a new project; or open a new project. It would be nice to be able to do the same in the home screen.

Three Outcomes for Quiz Results Slides
Presently there are two possible Review Area results messages, however there are three possible results of some quizzes.
1. You passed
2. You failed
3. You ran out of triesIt would be nice to have the third Review Area message available when a set number of tries have been set in the Interactions Section of the Results slide.
I have a client right now who wants this configuration but it requires a custom solution on my part.

Knowledge check slide icon
I really miss the little icon that would display in the filmstrip under knowledge check slides. It was great to be able to tell at a glance which question slides were KCs and which were graded. I feel like I have to go to each slide and check in the property inspector now, which takes more time.

Offer a new speech agent option of Paul Wilson's voice (Adobe Captivate Virtual Training instructor)
Offer a new speech agent option of Paul Wilson's voice (Adobe Captivate Virtual Training instructor). His voice is very easy to listen to! A lot of the text to speech voices are very robotic sounding.

Course loading progress indicator.......
When a user starts a course, it would be helpful to show a loading progress indicator in the browser to show that the course is loading. In Captivate 12, there is only a blank screen. There is nothing to show the user that is something is happening until the course finally loads and is displayed.
I have attached 2 files.
1. Captivate2019 which shows the loading progress indicator
2. Captivate12 which just shows a blank screen in the new Captivate version.2 votes -
Blur does'nt work in preview
There is an issue with the blur area in software simulations with Captivate 12.4. When viewing the preview, the blur area does not hide the element on which it was placed in the project. Same thing when changing the view for phone or tablet devices in the preview.

When I add videos to new Captivate it does not extend the duration of the slide like it did in Classic Captivate.
So if I have 2 videos on a slide, I have to add up the time in my head, e.g. 8 mins, and go to the timeline and drag it to (60sec x 8 = 480 sec) which is annoying coz unlike Classic Captivate I can't just type somewhere to extend the slide duration.
Unfortunately I have to do this coz the TOC shows the slide duration so students are thinking each slide only takes a minute but…

More Components in widgets, Customize my layout adjust the alignment
in the drag and drop widget, I can only add 6 drag components which is too less at least it should be 20. Similar issues In other widgets. Also, I can't customize the layout of my own too many editing limitations, can't edit designs of my own plus the suggested designs are very few.

Custome fonts not working
We recently created a course in Captivate 12 using custom fonts and published it as a SCORM package for the client. During the client's review, they flagged an issue, that the fonts did not appear correctly.
After meeting with the client, we discovered that the issue was due to the custom fonts not being installed on their system. While installing the fonts locally resolved the issue, this is not a sustainable solution, as the client's large user base cannot be expected to install these fonts individually.
The font ‘IBM Plex Sans’ is available on the Google Fonts site, but it’s…

Add ability to restrict the 'drag card' area so it is NOT MOVEABLE
Currently the user can move the area for the options all over the screen and OFF the screen, meaning if they accidentally move it it can cause them to get stuck in the activity unable to complete the activity.

Align text and button horizontally
I'm not sure if it's a bug, but I've been trying to get a line of text and a button aligned horizontally (text with button NEXT to it, NOT underneath). It's impossible. Even with a design template that shows horizontal alignment (see screenshot) - it just doesn't work. This is really frustrating; it's such a simple thing but impossible in Cp 12 (I have the latest 12.4).

Replace old audio file in project asset with new
When I want to use an updated audio file that I have saved under the same file name as previously used audio file, Captivate doesn't replace the old one (at least not in the timeline). I have to save the updated audio file under a different file name. Small detail, but in other Adobe products (e.g., Premiere Pro), I replace the old file with the new one (same name) in the source folder and voila - replaced in my timeline...
