Play video by clicking video instead of the tiny little play button in the corner.
If you want a scrolling course with multiple videos you have to use the video grid media block. When you use them the only way to play the videos is to click the tiny little play button in the bottom left corner. When you're in the program you can click the video to play it, but once you preview or publish it you lose that functionality. You should be able to just click the video to play it because that a much more intuitive workflow.

Feature request: Saving design options for components and widgets
Would be great to save own design options for components and widgets. Also importing/exporting would be helpful to share with customers and team mates. After styling a widget I cannot simplychange the layout without loosing several changes made earlier.

You should be able to click images, in any block, and open them in a new window to view full-size.
Most of the image formatting options are incredibly limited. I use many detailed images that need to be viewed up close. It would be incredibly helpful if users could click an image and view it full size. The best I can do at this point is turn my text block into a link that opens the image, but clicking the image itself would be a much more elegant solution.

Create non-responsive projects
My organization has decided against responsive design. They actively discourage people from using non-desktop computer devices to complete training (concern about employees doing it outside of working hours). The new Captivate leaves us in a bind. We need to be able to design static non-responsive projects as we have always done in previous versions of Captivate.
We will likely never switch until this is restored in the product. If it doesn't come before Cp Classic EOL, we will need to find an alternative product.

But - Applying colors/fonts globally for all objects in project properties
I have built some slides including all possible objects and widgets using the previously set up colours in "project properties" -> "edit theme". Then I changed the global colours and expected all buttons, objects, texts etc. to change colours automatically after clicking apply.
It would be a huge time saver if this could work. Somehow it works, but I have to click the used object preset in the presets area again to apply.
Please make it work automatically. Saving the theme and changing all items in the theme is not an option. It would take a lot of work when…

Change slide/capture size
We typically use the custom size option for capturing specific items on a page. It would be beneficial for the project to convert to this size or be able to resize the screen/project to the size of the capture window.

First second of audio replaying

ppt and pptx import features
Most teachers design using PPT and PPTX, so does instructional designers. So it would be ideal if you could import PPT and PPTX files to Captivate.

Allow multiple textboxes within groups
Often designers want bullet points or small blocks of text to appear as they are spoken in the narration, so you might want 5-10 short pieces of text appearing at different points on a slide. It's extremely common. I don't see a way to do that on a single slide since you're limited to one text element. THe only way would be for them to be stacked and have virtually 10 slides worth of material for the user to scroll down through as the narration progresses, requiring extremely active scrolling along with the narration - which will NEVER happen. Increase processing speed
I have found the application to be very slow in processing clicks. I am finding that I need to click or double click multiple times to get the application to respond. I am on a corporate network, not a dial-up, so I know it's not on my end.

Allow vertical spacing of Quiz answers
I want to be able to spread out the question answers vertically without having to add "returns" between them.

Animation Bug.
There is a Bug with animations where only the first animation will work as designed and all other animations will just 'appear'. Animations will only work if they are all designed to start at once at the beginning of the timeline. Color opacity
An option to choose the color opacity should be available. The one in Figma is particularly efficient.

Feature request: LMS and slide variables list
Old cp.changeState and other JS commands and functions cannot be used. Please provide an updated LMS variables and slide variables list to get and set Values by inserting Javascript.

Issue: Buttons, fonts, colors must be set before production
Buttons, fonts, colors set in the design must be set before starting the project, otherwise they are not updated. Can this be changed, so any later changes during production would be updated directly in all assets and presets.

Ability to Print an Outline
It would be useful to have a print function like Adobe Classic in order to print the presentation like a handout. Not at least having that function or the collaboration feature in this first rollout is a huge oversight.

Divided Content Containers
Add the functionality to have content containers that only take up 1/2, 1/3, or maybe even 1/4th of the screen to enable more flexible and fuid content design within the slide.
An example would be to have a logo in the header on the page with the image on a 1/4th content divider and the header on a 3/4th text content divider. I understand there are already content presets with an image in it; however there is very limited flexibility in modifying the spacing and location of each item in the preset.

Saving Captions as Part of the Theme
I would like the ability to save changes to feedback captions like Correct and Failure as part of the theme. This would save me time that I presently spend updating each caption one by one.
