Correct flicker when using effects.
Currently when you apply an entrance effect (ie. EaseIn Left or EaseIn Right) to an object in Adobe Captivate the object displays in the final position for a split second before beginning the effect.
The desired outcome is to not see the object until the effect begins to fade the object in. If the effect begins at the 0 second mark on the timeline and the effect fades and eases in left, you shouldn't see it until it begins to fade in.

I need to know how to import a Classic Captivate file
I am able to select a PPT file for import. But, when I choose to import a Classic Captivate file, I receive a beta message and then click Continue. Next I just receive a Captivate Classic Import (Beta) message that is spooling. I don't ever receive the window to select a file to import. Please help! My Captivate version is 13.1.1.200

allow us to change the default keyboard shortcuts
There is a bug with the play/pause function. Clicking pause on the on-screen keyboard does not work. Remapping keys in powertoys does not work. None of the key combinations involving the Fn key work.
A lot of keyboards don't have a pause/break button, so we need a way to map that to a different key. It's also better for workflow because we don't have to move our hands as much.
Also, F11 still works even though the documentation does not mention it.

Fix Captivate (new - 13.1) launch screen to be accessible at different text sizes.
I updated to 13.1 yesterday, hoping to be able to adjust the reading order in a classic project. Installed the new version and noticed that things didn't fit in the launch screen and were getting cut off. I clicked the Import button and selected the Captivate Classic option. The popup opened, but the image extended and was cut off at the bottom of the screen, and I was missing the Learn more link and the Continue button. There's no option to scroll or resize anything in the Launch screen, nor can you resize the launch screen itself. My colleague tried and was able to see the buttons on her machine.
We did some testing, and the cause turned out to be that I have my text set to Medium in the Windows Accessibility options. This is honestly inexcusable from an accessibility standpoint - losing functionality with literally the smallest accessibility adjustment. Please fix this and make your launch screen properly responsive and resizable.

This new version is no where compare to Classic Captivate and now voted suggestion may take decade to be par with CPC
A new version should retain all the features of the old one while also introducing meaningful enhancements. However, the new CP still falls far short of CPC. The development team may not fully understand which CPC features users rely on, and some basic options have been removed entirely. For example, adding a simple text box now requires inserting an entire block, with limited editing options that are locked within a group. In addition, the new CP crashes too often. If every missing feature must go through a suggestion and voting process before the development team prioritizes it, it could take 10 to 20 years to restore the full functionality of the old CPC.

Custom Completion Certificate Filename
It would be helpful to have the ability to set a custom download name for the certificate file instead of using the default “Captivate Certificate.” Many users aren’t tech‑savvy, and renaming downloaded files can be challenging. Allowing authors to define a filename that matches the course title would make the process much more user‑friendly.

Fix the closed captioning button on the playbar
On slides containing videos with captions, the closed captioning button on the playbar grays out and users cannot turn the captions on or off. However, the button works normally on slides that contain only narration with captions and not videos. For more context, imagine slide 1 contains narration with captions (no video), and a user clicks the CC button to turn the captions on. The user then goes to slide 2, where there’s a video with captions. Those captions also appear, but the user cannot turn them off because the CC button is grayed out. Any assistance you could offer would be appreciated and thank you for your time.

During import, some Classic slides don't import or import with nothing on them.
During import, some Classic slides don't import or seemingly import with nothing on them. This is most likely due to unsupported objects on the Classic slides. It would be nice if at least a truly blank slide was created with the slide name of the "deleted" slides, so we know that we need to recreate that slide and can do so immediately. On empty imported slides that had unsupported objects, it appears that we cannot preview the lesson with these. In fact, when we try to edit the slide, the lesson often freezes and closes. So, the current fix is to delete the slide and recreate it. I know the import tried and failed here, but perhaps there is a better way to handle unsupported objects and slides? Also, in the Import report, would it be possible to click on the slide in question and be taken to that slide? It is a bit frustrating to try and find a slide in a rather large lesson when the import report also has hundreds of issues to report.

Visible Scrolling Options for Continuous Scroll Slides and/or Projects
It is not inherent to all learners that they need to scroll down to view more with slides or projects that continue beyond the screen view.
For projects and/or slides that require the use of scrolling to view the entire slide or project, add a visibility that indicates the learner will need to scroll down to view the rest of the slide. Either a customizable scroll bar and/or up/down arrows that appear and remain visible for directing the learner during the training. Make it accessible for screen readers and keyboard only users.

support for 4k monitors
In the next update cycle, please allow the application to support 4K monitors (at the least). Application window cannot maximize to full screen without manually stretching and certain menus and settings are also inaccessible as a result. Right now, it feels like I'm stuck in "2000 and late."

Save before closing
Save Before Closing – “Ignorer” action in the French Version closes without saving
In the French version, when the “Save before closing” window appears, it offers three options: Ignorer, Annuler, and Enregistrer. These labels are confusing.
In French, “Ignorer” and “Annuler” both sound similar to Cancel. When we click “Ignorer”, we expect it to close the dialog box—just like Cancel—but instead it closes the project without saving.
To avoid confusion, you should rename the "gnorer" button to “Ne pas enregistrer” (“Don’t save”), as it was in Captivate Classic.2 votes -
Add enable feature for rounded corner for images
“Add a feature that allows users to define the corner radius for images (in pixels), similar to what is already available for cards, for the ‘Image Grid – Design Option 1’ and other design options.”

SUGGESTION: Table of Contents Enables Progressively
It would be very helpful if the sections of the TOC were disabled (visible but greyed out) and only became active as users progressed through a module. This would allow for progression visibility but would prevent folks from jumping all over the place.
Perhaps an added dropdown in the TOC editor called, 'Enable on Visit of Slide' then the dropdown options (slide number, previous slide, etc.)
Thank you for your consideration.

Set State on Input Field
Sometimes we have the need to first have learners click on the correct field/region of a screen via click box, then we ask them to enter data into an Input field. In Captivate 12's current build, users must click on the field again to trigger the Active state for the Input field, even though they just selected the field on the previous slide via the click box.
The result is an unnecessary additional click, and some frustration for learners who naturally think the field is immediately typeable.
It would be wonderful if we could 'Set State' of an Input Field upon slide enter to Active so their cursor is already on in the text box. This would help create a user experience that better matches the real environment.
Thank you for your consideration.
