Button and assign Advanced Action
Create a Button. Placing a button and writing the Advanced action. In New version. i did not find Advanced action at all.

Colour codes for Answered and Unanswered Questions
Under TOC, there should be indication like Progress bar. Answered Question means colour should change to Green and Unanswered Question means colour should change to Red. This will indicate, the user which Question is answered and which is not.

Please can you make Adobe Captivate 2023 compatible for Linux as it is more secure than Windows. Many people have moved across to Linux.
Please can you make Adobe Captivate 2023 compatible for Linux as it is more secure than Windows. Many people have moved across to Linux. They don't use Windows anymore. I have Linux and Windows now because I don't have a choice as the Adobe website only offers installations for Windows and Mac. Linux is a lot more secure, please please implement

Selection of states in interactions can overlap with other states
I've noticed that when selecting states in the interaction panel, sometimes the states will overlap with one another making it difficult if not impossible to choose the state you wish your interaction to display. Displaying the multiple states will usually correct this but I had to do this a number of times before discovering this.

Show Score in Quiz Preferences
If you use only scored objects, it should be possible to show the Score slide using the Option in Quiz Preferences. At this moment it will only show in Preview if you have at least one regular question.

Make the new software available for those with a Feature Restricted License
My company currently has FRLs until 2025 and when I asked our IT Team to download the all-new software, it's not actually available on an FRL just yet. Feels a bit unfair to say that if you've got a license you can get the new software when actually there's some small-print involved if you've got an FRL. Would love for FRL to be available for the all-new software so we can take advantage of it - feels like we're missing out.

Repair Discover in Classic Captivate for Characters/Templates.
Presently the Discover tab in the Assets panel which allowed to access more Characters and Templates in version 11.5.5, is dimmed? Please restore it, or at least explain why that functionality is now lost.

Quiz slide Multiple Choice, Multiple Answers, Partial scoring Penalty missing
BUG: there is no way to enter a penalty in this case.
You need to be able to add a negative score or a penalty to the wrong answers. Presently only the correct answers can get a positive score.1 vote -
Bug: Playbar appears on Start screen of HTML5 project
Publishing a simple project (HTML5 ) and the playbar will appear on the start screen. This is sloppy looking and causes confusion. Cp 2019 on Windows

Bug - Carousel Widget Captivate 12
The design option "Carousel Widget Horizontal Option with background" forces you to use a title that is underlined. You cannot remove the underline and no other titles have that. I want to use it but it causes this particular widget to be inconsistent with the other. A bigger issue is that when you turn the background off, it should be transparent, but it is not. All the other widgets can have their backgrounds turned off and the slide background appears, but in the carousel, even if you turn the background off, it appears white once published. It looks like the background is turned off on the stage, but you will see when you preview or publish the project, the white background remains. Here is a video showing the issue.
In doing some more testing with this and I determined the background of the widget IS turning off, however there exists some other white background only on the carousel (in every version of the carousel) that you cannot control. For example, my slide background is blue, and when I make the carousel background solid red at 50% opacity, the widget background appears purple in program because the blue and red mix. But when I publish or preview, the background looks bright pink because the 50% red mixes with the white. The white is always there when you publish, you just can’t see it in the program. Definitely a bug.

Text Animation in 11.8.2
Since the release of Adobe Captivate 11.8.2, I no longer seem to be able to edit the text in text animations from existing software simulation demos.

New slide insertion bug
I'm using the 2023 version of Captivate on a Mac When adding a new slide, I constantly receive an error message that "something went wrong while (sic) content block insertion"

Course Time Calculation for Captivate 2023
Course Time Calculation for Captivate 2023.
Looking for a "Course Time Calculation" feature in the Preferences, similar to what Captivate Classic had. It showed you the approximate overall for the course of all the slides. Other than sitting with a stopwatch and take the course.

Bug: Captivate crashes when modifying files in import file dialogue box
I am experiencing a bug in Adobe Captivate 12.5. When importing files, for example, when adding an image to a new media block, I have noticed that if I add, delete, or copy-paste a file within the import file dialogue box, Adobe Captivate freezes and must be closed from task manager. Upon attempting one of those file modifications, Captivate freezes and becomes unresponsive. I am unable to finish importing the file, choose a different file, close the dialogue box, close the project, save the project, or take any other action within Captivate.
While it is obviously not a smart idea to try to edit files while importing them (this was done unintentionally the first time), it also shouldn't cause Captivate to crash and potentially lead to lost work. This situation is likely uncommon/rare, but could happen if the user confuses the Captivate "open file" dialogue box for an instance of Windows file explorer, as the two are very similar in appearance, other than the small Captivate logo in the corner.

Edit transitions on Quiz buttons
For some reason when you select the submit button on a quiz you cannot edit the interaction to set up a transition. Well, at least not directly. I found that if you select the button and click back to one of your main slides and then select the interactions panel, when you return to the quiz, the interaction panel for the quiz button is open and you can edit it. You can then keep moving to the next slide and editing each one. This seems like a weird gatekeep for no reason, you should just be able to edit the transitions.
