  1. Allow multiple textboxes within groups

Often designers want bullet points or small blocks of text to appear as they are spoken in the narration, so you might want 5-10 short pieces of text appearing at different points on a slide. It's extremely common. I don't see a way to do that on a single slide since you're limited to one text element. THe only way would be for them to be stacked and have virtually 10 slides worth of material for the user to scroll down through as the narration progresses, requiring extremely active scrolling along with the narration - which will NEVER happen. This…

  3. Allow for more editing on overlays and make scroll bars always visible

With the overlays, the text box for the body is very small. It'd be nice if we could adjust the size of the box.

Also, being that the scroll bar is not visible, even on hover over, learners may not know there is additional content. There should be an option to make the scroll bar always visible.

  4. External user feedback

Just curious how I can share this project for reviews with external stakeholders. From my experience with Articulate 360; there are robust sharing features where the SME or other individuals can leave comments on the project. Is that feature available or in the development pipeline

  5. Fix Buggy Animations

On an SVG object, I chose to apply an exit animation going to the right. It played correctly when scrubbing through the timeline and when clicking Test. When I previewed in the browser, the object slides off to the left (the opposite direction).
I also applied an entrance animation to three SVG objects. I used the scale in option and I adjusted them to scale in one at a time on the timeline. This played as anticipated in the timeline. When I previewed in the browser, only the first two scaled in. The third popped in without animation.

  7. Allow audio to be attached to every widget object

There are several widgets that do not allow audio files to be attached: cards, hotspots, tabs, click to reveal. It seems pretty fundamental that you would want to allow an audio file to play when you click a tab or a hotspot...please add that functionality. Thank you!

  11. Allow vertical spacing of Quiz answers

I want to be able to spread out the question answers vertically without having to add "returns" between them.

  12. Bug - Interactive buttons with jump to bookmark on a slide video mobile issue

In the newest version of Adobe Captivate on Windows, when you have buttons that "jump to bookmark" on a slide video the interactivity does not work on mobile.

The functionality works fine on desktop but for some reason on mobile the buttons don't work and don't react to tap.

The mobile functionality is a needed feature for a client project.

Other button interactivity works on mobile such as running JavaScript, but not the "Jump to Bookmark"

  13. Allow for adding captions to any audio, not just at the slide level. For example audio attached to slide objects or interactions.

  15. Conditional or advanced interactions are slow and not very glanceable.

What was nice about Adobe Captivate Classic was that I could glance at the advanced action window and quickly determine the triggers and subsequent actions. The interactions panel hides much of its content, making it difficult to see the work that has already been performed and see what is yet to write. I want Captivate to display more details about what conditions and actions have already been performed.

  17. First second of audio replaying

When I navigate to another slide, the first portion (maybe 1 second) from the first slide you are navigating from is replayed. Here is an example: https://captivateteacher2020.s3.amazonaws.com/First-Cp12-Project/index.html

  18. Bring back the Slide Notes feature

We use the Slide Notes feature often in Adobe Classic to add notes, things to remember, and our audio script. It would be a very helpful feature to add to this newest version.

  19. Set default ai voice

I would like to be able to specify an AI voice as the default for all my new projects. And if I change the speaker during a project, then use that speaker until I ask to change from that speaker. At the moment every time I go to generate text to speech Captivate is defaulting back to the first voice in the catalogue.

  20. Spell check but also AI driven grammar, spell check and improved writing

I realize that I’m not the first to suggest this in the forums, but since Adobe Captivate 12 will be the first AI-driven version, I recommend taking it a step further. It would be beneficial to include a tool similar to Grammarly that checks spelling and grammar while also enhancing our writing for both on-screen content and AI voice-driven captions. This feature could help improve our on-screen text and spoken narration, ensuring that they represent the best version of our writing.
