Enable more design features for the quiz slides
Currently if you insert a quiz slide you cannot add any additional design elements - they are all greyed out. It would be great if there was more flexibility with the design on these slides as it is a critical slide for e-learning

Improve question slides
I want to request a small but significant improvement to the question slides. My current client would like me to use the AI voices for the feedback captions as well. I can do this by creating a temporary blank slide, generating the audio, exporting it, and then importing the audio into the caption on the question slide. It would be great if I could access the text-to-speech window directly from the audio section of the caption, as it would save me a lot of steps. Also, if the submit button could be programmed to pause the slide, it would effectively…

Three Outcomes for Quiz Results Slides
Presently there are two possible Review Area results messages, however there are three possible results of some quizzes.
1. You passed
2. You failed
3. You ran out of triesIt would be nice to have the third Review Area message available when a set number of tries have been set in the Interactions Section of the Results slide.
I have a client right now who wants this configuration but it requires a custom solution on my part.

Allow Short Answer quiz slide to have an open ended answer
Present a checkbox that allows the short answer to be open ended instead of requiring a particular answer

Add an image to the Question stem
I can't believe there in no option to have an image as part of the question stem. You can add them to the answers but that is not what I want.

Review Multiple-Choice Question slides properties when copied and modified from single-choice to multi-choice
In Classic Captivate, for a Multiple Choice (single-choice) question slide, we were able to copy it, modify to (multi-choice) select the correct multiple answers and it would work fine. Now, that is not how it works. When duplicated from single-choice type, modified to multiple answers - the duplicate inherits the single-choice type answer and cannot be changed. Not desirable.

Hint message???
In Preferences, Quizzing, Default Labels there is a 'Hint message' but after in-depth exploring this has no sense. There is no way to activate a Hint to appear, the multistate objects for the feedback messages during quizzing and Review do not have a Hint state at all. Moreover it is impossible to add custom states to any button, including the embedded buttons on quiz and score slides. I tried with multiple attempts on question level, where a hint would make sense from the second attempt, but situation is the same.

Adjust slide appearance for imported question pools
I have a comprehensive exam with 17 question pools and 350 total questions. When you import into a question pool, Captivate does not use a master slide. There is no way to adjust the Correct and Incorrect states font and text color for all the question slides in a pool. If there was a master slide associated with the imported pool, the appearance of those states could be edited in the master and applied to all the questions in the pool. Alternatively, allow states to be copied and applied to an entire question pool or to all selected slides.

Buttons are not taking the correct Breakpoints for responsiveness
I created a quiz with multiple choice questions. Uploaded it to the Adobe ALM. Tested it in Safari on an ipad PRO and the buttons are not displaying properly in landscape mode.

Have Continue Button Appear Only if Passing Grade
Presently you can turn on or off all the components of a quiz results slide. I would like to have the ability to turn on or off buttons such as review, retake, and Continue depending on the pass or fail. More specifically I would like to only show the continue button if the student passes and hide the continue button if they fail, encouraging them to retake the quiz.

You should be able to copy the appearance of buttons on quiz slides
You can copy the appearance of virtually anything on the main slides, with buttons being the most common in my case because I want to use a specific font, color, etc. But on the quiz you inexplicably cannot copy the appear of buttons and so now I have to manually set each Submit, View Answer, Back, and Next button on every Quiz slide individually which is a huge pain.

Random question pools
Allow us to add random question pools to the quiz so that each student receives a randomized/different quiz. Able to do this in Captivate 2019, but not the new version.

Even if I specify that the quiz captions are hidden, they will always appear. I am using the Japanese version.

CSV import - numerical character issue
Can't import CSV files if any of the cells START with numerical characters. In order for the import to work, I have to add alphabetical characters in front of the numerical ones. I then have to go clean up the quiz questions in Captivate and remove those letters. It's time consuming and allows for unnecessary errors.

Select multiple question slides and change common properties all at once
In the previous version of Adobe Captivate, we were able to select multiple question slides and change properties common to all the question slides. For example, if I wanted all my question slides to have two tries instead of one, we used to be able to select all the slides and make this change. Now I have to make these changes one by one.

It's easy to get stuck when using quiz slides in Captivate
When setting up question slides, it's easy to get stuck on that slide when users navigate back to a questions slide they already answered. There is no way to proceed.
Add a questoin slide. Turn off the skip options. Turn off the Playbar in quiz. Add any navigation to allow users to go back to the question slide. Preview. Answer the question. Return to the question slide. You are stuck there.
There are many reasons to turn off skip and playbar. But users are now stuck on a question slide they already answered.

Multiple choice Multiple answers: checkboxes please
For a MCQ slides with multiple correct answers, I would expect checkboxes instead of radio buttons. This is a globally accepted way to clarify to the user that multiple answers may be selected. It is contrary to all protocols that this should be chosen.

Out of tries message on results slide
The results slide only shows feedback for success or failure. Since you can limit the number of attempts a student can try the quiz, I would like to have an Out of Tries type message that would be triggered when the student has used up their attempts and failed the last attempt at the quiz. This way, I can write something like please see your supervisor for the next steps. I have a workaround, but I always prefer Adobe Captivate to have the built-in functionality. It makes development much more effortless. Here is the workaround: https://youtu.be/6Z-bU8DXlu4

Question Slide Submit button bug on Scorm
I am testing my course on scorm cloud. In my course Quiz questions are present. All the Quiz slides are built using default Question slides template provided by Adobe Captivate 12.3. When I retake the quiz and close the course while taking the Quiz. Relaunch the course again, it redirects me to the question slide where I left last time. Then I select the option and try to submit the Quiz. The Submit button gets disabled. I am not able to submit my question.
