Play video by clicking video instead of the tiny little play button in the corner.
If you want a scrolling course with multiple videos you have to use the video grid media block. When you use them the only way to play the videos is to click the tiny little play button in the bottom left corner. When you're in the program you can click the video to play it, but once you preview or publish it you lose that functionality. You should be able to just click the video to play it because that a much more intuitive workflow.

Support multiple video playback control skins and features
Captivate Classic provides support for multiple self-hiding video playback control skins, such as Halo and Corona. It also provides "Auto Play" and "Auto Rewind" features for video that is embedded in a slide. We would like to see these features added to Captivate 2023.

Support web-based video streaming services using web objects and iframes.
We currently use iframes in a web object on a slide in Captivate Classic to stream video from an enterprise video streaming service called Vbrick (www.vbrick.com). We would like to see this supported in Captivate 2023.

The ability to not have Black Bars on Video Slides when the video resizes
When placing a slide video in on the "canvas" it would be good to not have the video have massive black bars at the top and bottom.
Kind of makes the video aspect ration options irrelevant, when regardless of what you select there, the video has massive black bars on the top and bottom in a a 1:1 square

Bring back the ability to embed content with IFRAMES. We still need this capability.
Removing the ability to embed web objects has really caused us problems. We need this functionality. We need to be able to embed documents from remote sources so that they always reflect the most current version of a policy, in this particular use case.

Bug - Cannot Add Slide Video Block
When I click Add Media Block >> Slide Video, the program crashes. I cannot add videos at all, and I've lost unsaved work. My IT folks uninstalled and reinstalled my program and it did not help.

The ability to be able to export as one file is critical
You can only export to a web format, which is fine, but it means the video output is split into many files. I use Premiere Pro to compile my videos, add a title page, etc, and having hundreds of tiny files is difficult to manage, plus they can get mixed up in import to Pr. Please give us back the option to export to a simple MP4.

Multi Slide Synchronized Video
This is an issue with Classic Captivate that I discovered with a client. When I select a video that is set to span across several slides and edit the transition markers between slides, I cannot change the duration of each slide as I was able to in the past.

Vimeo video and caption controls not available.
Embedded video from Vimeo using the video object has no controls. I'd rather not enforce the user to have to sit through the whole video again when returning to a slide to make a different choice. I'd also like them to have the option see the captions already uploaded and managed in Vimeo.

Allow video streaming support for Microsoft Stream
Microsoft Stream has full integration with the suite of Microsoft Products and Microsoft Sharepoint. This is an industry standard video service that we have utilized since using Captivate Classic. We would like to be able to link our videos directly from stream rather than create a Youtube or Vimeo account.

video webm format support
Today, the only format accepted by Captivate for videos is mp4. The webm format is more compressed than mp4, and would consume less bandwidth from the LMS.

When I add videos to new Captivate it does not extend the duration of the slide like it did in Classic Captivate.
So if I have 2 videos on a slide, I have to add up the time in my head, e.g. 8 mins, and go to the timeline and drag it to (60sec x 8 = 480 sec) which is annoying coz unlike Classic Captivate I can't just type somewhere to extend the slide duration.
Unfortunately I have to do this coz the TOC shows the slide duration so students are thinking each slide only takes a minute but…

Change source on videos in a Video Media Block
How do you change the SOURCE for videos in a Video Media Block?
I added a web source URL to a Video. I want to change that URL. However, there doesn't seem to be any way to edit or change a video source once added
