More formatting options Text to make the text look like buttons
It is already possible to assign an action to text so it effectively functions as a button.
I propose adding a customizable box outline and color to text could enhance its functionality and aesthetics, providing users with more flexibility in creating customized buttons and layouts.Then u could make the text match the other captivate buttons.

Allow customization of alignment and spacing properties for different responsive views
Similar to how we can set different font sizes for desktop, tablet, and mobile views, I would like to be able to set the parameters of the Alignment and Spacing pane for each view - desktop, tablet, and mobile.
By default, they should all match (i.e. when I set the parameters for the desktop view, those carry over to tablet and mobile) but I would like the option to set different widths for content on tablet/mobile views.

Custom Themes Prior to Recording Software Simulations
It would be amazing to be able to apply a theme prior to recording a Software Simulation to decrease the amount of editing that has to be done after the recording. Specifically, it would be helpful if the Instructions component color and font could either be defined prior to recording. And it would be thrilling if I could edit the Instructions component color and/or font AFTER recording and have the option to "Apply to all slides" like you can with the Mouse properties. Fix SCORM file responsiveness
When SCORM file is played in LMS the responsive size is not uniform. Widgets such as flip card and other interaction are responsive to the screen size an require scrolling because the frame size is smaller, so it is causing a frame within a frame. This hides content and makes it incredibly frustrating for our end users who cannot see entire interactive elements. All elements in the SCORM file should be responsive to the frame size, not a mix of frame and screen.

Allow video streaming support for Microsoft Stream
Microsoft Stream has full integration with the suite of Microsoft Products and Microsoft Sharepoint. This is an industry standard video service that we have utilized since using Captivate Classic. We would like to be able to link our videos directly from stream rather than create a Youtube or Vimeo account.

feedback multistate object in quiz
At this moment the default position of that multistate object is at the top. However that means that the control panel for the 3 layouts is overlapping the feedback messages during Preview. It would be better to put that default location to the bottom.
BTW, it would be nice to have the Show 'captions' remain active until they are hidden again by the developer. Now you have to show them individually on each slide, which means a lot of time loss when editing the content of those messages, since you need to scroll down in the properties panel to find…2 votes -
Pass/Fail actions in Quiz: allow condition
The Success and Failure actions on the quiz slide are limited to standard actions. Please allow also conditional actions! Since we already lost advanced and shared actions as well as the On Enter event of the score slide, being able to use a condition would at least allow some customisation. Example: different navigation depending on the learner score (>80, between 60 and 80, below 60) is impossible now without adding extra slides and more work.

Allow for audio to be played at 2x and 4x speed in HTML5 player
In the HTML5 slide video player, the 2x and 4x button in the playbar at the bottom of the screen only speed up the slide by 2 and 4 times respectively and mute the audio. It would be a useful feature if the audio can also be sped up 2x and 4x when this button is pressed so users have the ability to both listen and watch the material at a faster speed.

Bug - Image Grid Text Overflow with Card Enabled
On the image grid design option "Image Grid Vertical C1" there is a bug when you enable the card component.
When the card is enabled, the text area for the caption and subtitle go past the boundary of the card. The issue persists at all content widths. If you make the content 100% wide and preview the slide, the text gets cut off.
If I add padding to the cards at 30px, it pushes the text back into bounds, but that doesn't fit with my other card designs.
If there is a way to adjust this in the JSON files…

Add a closed captioning to a slide that includes a 'Web' video as the video Source.
As it stands now you can only import closed captions when you upload the original mp4 file. If you choose the web video source option, there is not an option to add captions. At a minimum you should allow the use of the Youtube video playbar so users can toggle the youtube closed captions. This seems like a big miss for accessibility.

report for quiz settings
Recommend a report that shows all of the interactions that are set to 'include in quiz'.
I'm using Captivate 12.3, and I accidentally clicked on some text boxes to 'include in quiz.' It was a lengthy process to click every single text box and button in my project to find the two random text boxes in my quiz totals.

• Option to add/ remove test options on all slides, not just one at a time.

View comments in Captivate
Pull the Share for Review comments into the program so you can view as you work. Unless I missed something, I need to have browser window open to view comments.

New Captivate Backup file Icon displays as Classic Icon
Currently, the new Captivate backup file icon appears identical to the classic Captivate icon. To ensure clarity and avoid mix-ups between the two applications, the new Captivate backup file icon should be displayed as the new Captivate icon.

Bug: carousel indicator dots not showing
Occasionally when published, carousels with 'indicator' checked in the feature options are appearing without the indicator dots/dashes when published. I'm sure there's a commonality between them but for the time being can't work out what it is -- seemingly random.

Remove solid black border from overlays
When an overlay first appears it is surrounded by a solid black border even if no border is selected.
It should be possible to remove this.

Option to remove blur from overlays
I have experimented with clear backgrounds on overlays but when an overlay is shown the slide below is automatically blurred and there seems to be no way to control this.
You should be able to make an overlay clear so that the image below can be seen.

Draw Hotspots of different shapes rather than just Images inside a square
You should be able to draw a hotspot as a vector rather than just have an image placed inside a square place holder (with the entire square being a clickable hotspot).
This is so that you can click on part of an image below the hotspot.

Preview starting always on slide 1 (v12.3)
in the new update v12.3 the preview always starts on the first slide and not the current active slide, as before. It would be great, if it starts at the current (active) slide again.
