  1. I just started testing the updated Captivate Classic. Why was the Preview next 5 slides removed?

    In the updated Captivate Classic, the Prevew next 5 Slides option is no longer in the Preview drop-down. Why was that removed? If I have 100 slides and I want to check the timings on slides 90-95, I don't want to preview the entire project and try to guess where to click to start my preview. I can't preview just one slide at a time if I am checking the timings when switching from one slide to another.

  3. Print slides, text, and closed captions to Word like in Classic

    We use the Print feature in Classic to keep documentation of courses (slides, text captions, slide notes) for review by SMEs and auditors and for record retention. The export function in new CPT does not capture enough information. I'd like to be able to open a Word doc and see the slide, then under it all the slide notes and text captions like you can in Handouts in Print in Classic.

  4. allow two or more items to be selected on the timeline simultaneously

    Only one item can be selected in the timeline at at time. There are times when I need to move 2+ items to the same location on the timeline. Allowing for multiple items in the timeline to be selected simultaneously ensures the timing is accurate and is more efficient.

  5. Allow customization of alignment and spacing properties for different responsive views

    Similar to how we can set different font sizes for desktop, tablet, and mobile views, I would like to be able to set the parameters of the Alignment and Spacing pane for each view - desktop, tablet, and mobile.

    By default, they should all match (i.e. when I set the parameters for the desktop view, those carry over to tablet and mobile) but I would like the option to set different widths for content on tablet/mobile views.

    On desktop, I may have an image background, so I have the text content fit into 60% to allow users to see the…

  6. Fix slides groups and hide slides

    If I choose to hide an slide from TOC, this slide is hidden frome whole project.
    Also is buggy when I try to set slide groups

  7. Importing OAMs

    Due to the 'renewed' terminology the word Animation is now used for the former Effects. However you'll never have the power of real animation tools in Captivate. I used to import OAMs created in Animate, and animated GIFs created either in Photoshop or in Animate. Please give use that feature back!

  8. Drag and drop doesn't re-size correctly on smaller devices

    Drag and drop doesn't re-size correctly on smaller devices. If you use it on a smaller phone, you can't see the drag options, only the drop boxes.

    Users should be able to select text in the publish version. It would insure the accessibility of the ressource.

  10. Add functionality to the New Captivate to export a single MP3 file from multiple slides

    The previous version of Captivate allowed for a single MP3 file to be exported from multiple slides, each w/ individual MP3 files (i.e., "podcast"-like file). Is this on the radar for New Captivate? It's my primary use case and very disappointing that it's not available.

  11. Allow text entry boxes to be fully customizable like Captivate 2019

    1. Allow auto submit w/o needing to hit Enter or Submit
    2. Allow TEB height to be adjustable
    3. Allow padding to be adjustable so I can use bigger text size without making the box taller

  12. Enable Edit in Audition like there was in Captivate Classic and in Premiere Pro

    There should be the option to edit audio directly in Audition, save changes and update in Captivate automatically, just like in Premiere Pro.

  13. The ability to be able to export as one file is critical

    You can only export to a web format, which is fine, but it means the video output is split into many files. I use Premiere Pro to compile my videos, add a title page, etc, and having hundreds of tiny files is difficult to manage, plus they can get mixed up in import to Pr. Please give us back the option to export to a simple MP4.

  14. TOC & Playbar Menu Toggles are covered by screenshot in Simulations when in Desktop view

    There is a bug with the display of a screenshot in Desktop mode of a Simulation. When you open the TOC and Playbar menu all the toggles are hidden behind the simulation screenshot

  15. Fix problem where pasting from external program pastes text twice.

    Pasting text from browser or acrobat pastes the text twice for some reason. Then I have to delete half of what is pasted. Why does it do this? Please fix this problem.

  16. Audio in Hotspot widget to play when hotspot is clicked

    If you allow to add audio to the callouts, whether to the image or the text, this would be a simple but very useful enhancement.

  17. Create a process widget

    Create a process widget. It would be great to have a process widget. The old version was a circle which is nice, but there could also be a horizontal option that shows a process for instances that do not repeat themselves in a cycle.

  18. Allow overlay images (ie. click to reveal) expand to the whole overlay if there's no text element.

    At the moment, if there's no text element the image still remains small. If there's no text element, it should expand to take up the whole overlay.

  19. {Bug} Random duplication of variables

    I created 5 variables to test out the new variable system. I created these variables on a single slide and assigned them to buttons.

    I then began programming advanced actions with the buttons on the same slide and I realized there was an entire list of duplicated variables all from the initial 5 that were created.

    I did not duplicate the buttons on this slide, nor did I duplicate the slide itself.

    • The variables couldnt be deleted until I saved the file and reopened it.

  20. add buttons to flip cards widget (to start and pause audio)

    Please add the ability to add AT LEAST 2 buttons to each flip card to make it accessible for the user to start and stop or pause the audio.
