Add Ability to Lower Slide/Thumbnail Resolution to Improve Editing Time
Currently the program is super slow, and it's frustrating sitting there waiting for thumbnails of slides to process before I can even click them. I wish there was a way we could lower the resolution of our slides/thumbnails (like how Adobe After Effects allows you to lower the resolution to 1/4 or 1/2 to enable faster editing).
I don't need my slides and thumbnails to look perfectly crisp while editing and if they were lower resolution in the editor it might help me speed up my process.
I use some animated GIFs as images, and in the thumbnails Captivate is actually running the animation which is insane and probably uses up so much of my computer's processing on something that doesn't even matter.
Also, when you are making interactions and you want to select a certain slide to go to - you have to sit there and wait while all the full resolution thumbnails populate before you can click anything. I have projects with a LOT of slides, and I name them all to ensure organization. If I could change this to be a text-only view rather than sifting through thumbnails it could save me a lot of time. Thank you Captivate Team I appreciate your time.

Playhead Not Accurate In Timeline
This is especially noticeable when I've just added a new audio to the slide. I add the audio, press play on the timeline, and the playhead is frozen in place while the audio plays uncontrollably in the background. Eventually the playhead starts moving, but it's inaccurate. When the screen is frozen and the audio is playing, I have to just sit there and wait for the playhead to start moving. If I click anything before the playhead starts moving again, the program can crash or freeze.
I've noticed the timeline is pretty inaccurate in general, and I have to time my bookmarks based on LOOKING at the audio wave file instead of relying on the timeline itself. The playhead/timeline is also incredibly SLOW and I have to be super careful not to click too many times, or the play button will literally disappear while the audio plays with the playhead not even moving. Or, the first time trying to play a slide with a new audio will cause all the elements on the slide to disapear and I have to click to another slide to refresh it and start editing it again.

Allow us to change the color of a text hyperlink
In earlier updates I was able to manually change the color of clickable text links so that it matched my client's branding. It would be nice to have control over how these look, and it would be exceptional if the appearance of text hyperlinks was something we could add to the theme editor.
Not sure what changed, but now I have to explain to my clients that this functionality was somehow removed, and we have to deal with ugly purple links instead of sticking to our brand colors.

Hyperlink improvement
Hyperlinks do not always work. Our policy link looks like this and Captivate 12 doesn't accept it: https://epm.azahcccs.gov/EligibilityPolicyManual/index.html#t=Policy%2FChapter_400_AHCCCS_Medical_Assistance_Programs%2FMA0413.htm
If I convert it to a tiny UTL, that type of link does work. https://tinyurl.com/EPM413

Accessibility Bug: The scrolling text area does not have a tab index
The click to reveal widget forces a scrolling text box. This text box cannot be scrolled by a keyboard user, because there is no tab index on the box itself. It is also not clear that the text box is scrollable, because the thumb for the scrollbar is hidden until scrolling with the mouse. This box should be responsive on browser zoom and expand vertically to show the text, rather than cut the text off in a scrolling area. If it must do a scrolling area, that scrolling area needs the scroll bar thumb as an indicator, and also needs to be focusable with tab.

Editing Closed Captions
When I paste in what I learn is too much text into the Closed Captions area for text-to-speech, I cannot CTRL+X the text I wish to remove. I was able to to do this in 12.5 or earlier.

Accordion Widget formatting
Accordion should also allow:
- formatting the text inside the accordion tabs content, as now you can only apply presets, but not add bold or italic to the content
- more than one tab open at the same time as an option, or all the tabs to be open altogether
- copy and paste appearance of tabs
- include the tab text in the states, so the text can have different colours in each state3 votes -
Software Simulation: Instructions Box, unable to Change States
Bug: When doing the software simulation, the instructions box does not show any states. When I preview: it has a hint box but I can't change anything on there. I want to be able to remove it.

Copy and paste alignment and spacing from one block to another
I have about ten blocks on a particular slide. I manually set the alignment and spacing for each one, and then I had to do it again for tablet and mobile view. It would be nice if I could right-click on a block, copy the alignment and spacing, and then apply that same alignment and spacing to other blocks on the same slide, or for that matter, anywhere in my project.

Bug: Icons in Click to Reveal don't properly change color
When you try to change the color of an icon, any icon that is composed of one solid element, such as the heart icon, will change to the color selected. However if you chose an icon with separate elements within, such as the calendar icon, not all the elements within the icon change to the selected color.

Drag and drop with forced navigation option
I design training for a healthcare system clinical competency. Part of this training involves instruction on proper placement of defibrillator pads. Placing defibrillator pads incorrectly can reduce the effectiveness of the shock and potentially lead to harm to the patient. I previously submitted Case ADB-36997462-K9H6, explaining that I had created a drag and drop to simulate the proper pad placement process. However, there currently is not forced navigation with drag and drop that would allow me to require the learner to select and place the first pad listed before they can place the second. Is there a possibility that your team would consider developing forced navigation options within a drag and drop to better guide our learners on proper procedure? Thank you for your consideration.
feedback from our education team regarding this current drag and drop slide ... Is it possible to have this screen only allow the users to put the back pad on first and then the front pad? I know the words say it, but in the hands on portion it is a requirement and it is a frequently missed part.

Play head on timeline always jumps to the right side.
When I want something to appear on the stage and in sync with the audio I use the timeline. However every time I play the time line it jumps to the far right and makes it difficult to see the time and when I want a paragraph to appear on the stage. If the play head is in the middle of the timeline and I press play it should play from the middle of the timeline. But it immediately jumps to the far right and then makes everything difficult to time things on the stage. All other applications I have used plays the play head from the position it is at. The play head and timeline is very clunky and not user friendly. This should be fixed immediately.

Mouse Pointer Settings
Allow for editing the color of the mouse pointer or include the one that looks exactly like a mouse on your computer. We want to be as realistic as possible and the mouse that looked most accurate in Adobe Captivate Classic is not available in the All-New version of Captivate. The closest looking one is gray, but there is no way to change the color of it to white.

Add the "Show/Hide during publish" option for Widget Blocks
I would like to create an infinite-scroll style course, but the Widget blocks (which provide the bulk of interactivity) can't be hidden during publish.

Add interaction to video grid based on video progress
I would be helpful if we could add interactions to video grid blocks based on user progress. For example, I would like to add an interaction that enables a button, but only after the user has watched a certain percentage of each video in the grid.

Allow more than 6 images in an image grid
It'd be great if we could add more than 6 images to an image grid. The ability to add an infinite number to a single grid would be helpful.

Click to Reveal widget issue when using custom images
I have the latest version of the all-new Captivate (12.5) and I'm experiencing a bug with the "Click to Reveal" widget when trying to use custom images. To replicate this issue: In the click to reveal widget, add a custom image and change its display from "fill" to "fit", do the same for the "Hover" state. Try to preview. The only thing that shows in the page is "Something went wrong!"
This error happens only when using "Fit" as the display, it works fine when using "Fill" so I'm guessing that it's something to do with the states.

AI Voice/text to speech workflow improvements
I love this feature in then new version 12.5 with AI, however the workflow needs to be simplified. In many cases, I want the text I have on the screen to be spoken. I need to copy all that, open the text-to-speech, then paste the same information into the speech caption box, then click generate. Add a right-click option or a button that allows me to pick a text object already on the slide, and just convert it without all the duplicate effort.
