Quiz TOC checkmarks depending on right/wrong answer
Previously, we used Adobe Presenter, where the TOC indicated by different symbols whether the answer to a quiz question was right or wrong.
In Captivate 12.3.0.12 (German version, Windows), the TOC displays a green "passed" checkmark if the slide has been seen, even if the recorded answer is wrong.
Please let checkmarks be configurable - or at least display an appropriate checkmark (red "x" or similar) for all quiz slides with a wrong answer.1 vote -
Certificate download file size and missing "save as" option
The "Download" button saves a file with fixed name "captivate-certificate-[n].pdf" with an index n.
1. ICan the user please be prompted with a system dialog to save with a file name and to a location of his/her choice?
2. The PDF contains a rasterized image of poor quality (see text sample attached) but astonishing size (~5 MB). Can the file please be configured to be as small as possible, with a printable text quality as fitting for a respectable certificate?1 vote -
Responsive behavior for Background Image
Allow a 'focal point' for images when they change sizes in Captivate projects
Sharepoint pages do allow you to set the 'focus' of an image for when the portal changes size, it lets the author have some control over how the item is shown to users without having a ton of options to configure each time.

incorrect remediation sound missing from the asset library of sounds
put the old sounds from captivate 2019 into captivate 12. "electronic tink" sound file is also missing from the captivate 12 asset library compared to captivate 2019.
Also there is a bug on mac computer sonoma where sometimes when you go to asset and look through the sound choices in the asset library, they won't play. Also I can't see a way to add remediation sounds to the remediation states without doing it one by one for each quiz slide.

You should be able to click images, in any block, and open them in a new window to view full-size.
Most of the image formatting options are incredibly limited. I use many detailed images that need to be viewed up close. It would be incredibly helpful if users could click an image and view it full size. The best I can do at this point is turn my text block into a link that opens the image, but clicking the image itself would be a much more elegant solution.

The feedback responses in a knowledge/check quiz default to grey text on a coloured background and I have to manually edit the text colour for each state for each question slide.
Even worse it's really hard to get to viewing those states I spend ages clicking around and get there by accident.
Please default it to white text on coloured background, and have a clear button or something that shows how to get there and edit.1 vote -

When allowing for multiple attempts in drag and drop, provide a 'try again' caption.
Provide a ' try again ' caption when allowing for multiple attempts in drag and drop. Also when you have an initial attempt that is incorrect, provide the option to automatically reset the drag sources back to the original positions.

Drag and drop doesn't re-size correctly on smaller devices
Drag and drop doesn't re-size correctly on smaller devices. If you use it on a smaller phone, you can't see the drag options, only the drop boxes.

allow slides to reset when the learner returns to a slide they have already viewed.
For software simulations in Training mode, once the learner has clicked on the click box and the slide advances, if they return to the slide, the click box doesn't work, and the instruction caption does not appear. Sometimes, learners need to go back a slide or two to review information again. The checkbox and instruction caption should be available for them to click on the second pass of a slide.

allow more freedom of movement with highlight boxes and text boxes.
Having the ability to move highlight boxes and text boxes with keyboard arrows allows for more precise placement.

Allow for audio to be played at 2x and 4x speed in HTML5 player
In the HTML5 slide video player, the 2x and 4x button in the playbar at the bottom of the screen only speed up the slide by 2 and 4 times respectively and mute the audio. It would be a useful feature if the audio can also be sped up 2x and 4x when this button is pressed so users have the ability to both listen and watch the material at a faster speed.

Feature request: Saving design options for components and widgets
Would be great to save own design options for components and widgets. Also importing/exporting would be helpful to share with customers and team mates. After styling a widget I cannot simplychange the layout without loosing several changes made earlier.

Make it possible to change the state of cursor on hover over a hotspot
If you want to have an invisible hotspot but still reveal it on a hover the only option is to change the initial state of the hotspot to invisible but make the hover state visible.
You should be able to change the state of the cursor instead. For example, change it from a white arrow to a grey or black one, or from a white arrow to a finger pointer.

Bug: Video slide and 'go to next slide'
If a video slide is created, and then an interaction to 'go to next slide' is added, although the testing in edit mode shows it working, when the project is previewed or published it does not work. The slide pauses and does not advance to the next slide as intended.

Bring back object styles.
Being able to apply universal changes across a large quantity of objects across all slides was one of the big reasons why I prefer Captivate 2019 to Storyline. This saves me so much time and I can use this for future trainings made for the same company.

Advanced Actions
Please allow us to create advanced actions. For instance, I need to be able to redirect a student who didn't pass the exam to the content. If they pass an exam, I need some JavaScript that will take them back to our LMS. This is impossible in the new Captivate - at least that I've found.
