Select multiple question slides and change common properties all at once
In the previous version of Adobe Captivate, we were able to select multiple question slides and change properties common to all the question slides. For example, if I wanted all my question slides to have two tries instead of one, we used to be able to select all the slides and make this change. Now I have to make these changes one by one.

Allow option to retain closed captions when replacing slide audio
I may tweak a small aspect of my slide's audio and upload a new version to the slide. Doing so currently (in 12.4) removes my existing captions, forcing me to redo every caption on that slide.
It would be nice to have a pop-up that asks if I want to retain or delete existing captions when changing the audio file.

Widgets and carousel should have more than 6 items/pages
The current timeline widget, carousel widget, hotspot widget etc. only have up to 6 items/pages. I've been working on projects with a 15 point timeline, or an 8 point hotspot activity, or a 9 page carousel. Which means, I couldn't use these widgets and had to come up with my own custom design, which is very time consuming and more difficult than it needs to be.
Please add the ability to have at least 15, or a custom defined number of items/points/pages in a widget or carousel.

Reset scrolling content to start at the top of the page.
If you have a slide with scrolling content linked to another slide with scrolling content (such as when you click continue at the end of the 1st scrolling slide) for some reason, the next slide starts at the bottom and not the top where it should!
This completely ruins the user experience and flow of content, forcing them to scroll up backwards all the way to the top. NOT GOOD! If this is an internal programing glitch, then it needs to be addressed IMMEDIATELY!! 😬

Have Continue Button Appear Only if Passing Grade
Presently you can turn on or off all the components of a quiz results slide. I would like to have the ability to turn on or off buttons such as review, retake, and Continue depending on the pass or fail. More specifically I would like to only show the continue button if the student passes and hide the continue button if they fail, encouraging them to retake the quiz.

Print slides, text, and closed captions to Word like in Classic
We use the Print feature in Classic to keep documentation of courses (slides, text captions, slide notes) for review by SMEs and auditors and for record retention. The export function in new CPT does not capture enough information. I'd like to be able to open a Word doc and see the slide, then under it all the slide notes and text captions like you can in Handouts in Print in Classic.

Preview without the device icons at the top
A viewer of my YouTube channel suggested this idea, and I think it might be beneficial. Could we have an option to preview a project truly as it would be published, i.e., without the device preview icons at the top of the page? We certainly can resize our browsers to simulate what different devices might look like. Perhaps the icons have outlived their usefulness, or perhaps this is an option that can be turned on or off in the preferences window.

Allow customized carousel page styles to be copied or applied across all instances.
This would also apply to other widgets, but if you need to customize the overall appearance of the carousel slide pages, i.e.( colors, text, cards, borders, etc...) it is EXTREMELY annoying and time consuming to be forced to make the same changes over and over for each instance!
Therefore, I HIGHLY suggest adding a checkbox somewhere in the properties panel that applies your custom styles to ALL instances within the same widget. This would save so much extra production time!

bug: variables are copied when copying interactions
When an interaction, including variables, is copied, a copy of all variables is automatically created. However, these additional variables are not needed and cannot be deleted.
For example, if you have 4 buttons on a page that each need to check if 5 variables have a value of 1, you can enter this manually, which is quite tedious. Alternatively, you can set it up once manually and then copy it. However, this results in having a total of 20 variables instead of 5, where only 5 are actually needed. The remaining 15 variables are redundant and cannot be deleted, causing…

Over time, have the action menu dynamically update and move frequently used actions from the ...More menu into the main menu.

Incorporate ability to add two more blocks side-by-side by adjusting the block width.
Ability to add two or more blocks side-by-side by allowing to adjust the width of the blocks. This will help when navigation buttons or similar small elements are to be placed by the side of a text or other content blocks.

Add pause to a triggered object audio
I would love to see a pause method added to a triggered object audio. So, for instance, if a button has audio assigned to it (via Play Media, not slide audio), then clicking the button would play the audio, clicking again would pause the audio, clicking the button again would restart the audio from where it was paused, and so on.

Even if I specify that the quiz captions are hidden, they will always appear. I am using the Japanese version.

Ability to adjust size of a button
Right now, the only way to adjust the width of a button is by adding spaces to the text. It would be much better to be able to define a width, possibly a similar way the Alignment and Spacing of a block is handled. Also the space between buttons should be adjustable.

Allow custom Buttons in UI Theme to flow to a text button changed to an arrow button
Currently, in a custom theme's UI components text "buttons" with corporate colors (each state) do not flow to icon buttons (forward / backward arrows) Only the default color scheme flows to the arrow buttons. When producing content for multiple languages, text buttons are not suitable. Arrow buttons should inherit the theme colors of text buttons from UI Components.

Two buttons but showing three in interaction properties inspector
One of my slides has two buttons on the display, but three are showing in the interactions properties inspector. This seems like a bug to me. When I try to interact with this mystery button, Captivate crashes.
