make preview match what I see in Captivate
When I am creating slides in Captivate and go to preview them, often what I see on the preview is different than what i see on the main Captivate screen. This is extremely frustrating. See attached pics. Why are they different?

Deprecation of JavaScript "unload" event

Fix / make possible animated SVG files (as hotspot icons in hotspot widget)
It's possible to replace one hotspot icon in the hotspot widget with an animated SVG file (the file itself is animated, no captivate animation is used) and the animation works. However, if you try replacing more than one hotspot icon, the animation stops working (as shown in the attached GIFs).

Review Multiple-Choice Question slides properties when copied and modified from single-choice to multi-choice
In Classic Captivate, for a Multiple Choice (single-choice) question slide, we were able to copy it, modify to (multi-choice) select the correct multiple answers and it would work fine. Now, that is not how it works. When duplicated from single-choice type, modified to multiple answers - the duplicate inherits the single-choice type answer and cannot be changed. Not desirable.

Simulation
I notice that in software simulations, if you have a highlight box in the same spot as a click box, it prevents the click box from being clicked.
Also really missing the ability to hide slides in the filmstrip, the audio panel, as well as the library.

When performing a "Save As" and selecting the Folder icon for the Location - adds ".cpt.cpt" to the filename
Create a new file.
Save the file.
Select Save As and select the folder icon for Location
RESULT: Filename by default shows {Filename}.cpt.cpt
EXPECTED: Do NOT add the extraneous .cptNOTE: Each time you select the folder icon additional .cpt is added

Change source on videos in a Video Media Block
How do you change the SOURCE for videos in a Video Media Block?
I added a web source URL to a Video. I want to change that URL. However, there doesn't seem to be any way to edit or change a video source once added

Adjustable width of videos
In the last version of new adobe it was possible (even if it was not that easy to do that) to adjust the video to full sclae of 16:9 without the black boxes around it. Now it's not possible anymore since the newest update...something wrong here?

I wish that you could simply insert powerpoint slides again. That has made things so much easier.

Video in the background during quiz question
I would like to run a video in the background without it being interrupted when a quiz overlay takes place. I would like the video to simply continue running uninterrupted while the quiz question appears. I think this was possible in the 2019 version. not now. please very important!!!

responsive design - Complaint:
I find it incredibly irritating that I can’t create my eLearning content in a non-responsive format. Transitioning to the new Captivate has been difficult, especially when it comes to using my own templates. I struggle with placing titles and buttons where I want them.
Additionally, I would appreciate guidance on creating custom templates. I’ve searched for videos on this topic, but most only showcase the default themes in Captivate. A tutorial specifically focused on custom templates would be extremely helpful.

Content width/Alignment % and title/text spacing should be the same for all blocks
An 80% width Image block is not the same width as an 80% Text block. It should align perfectly, but it doesn't (see image). I suppose I could adjust it with the new padding feature, but this really shouldn't be necessary. A certain % width should be the same for all blocks.
Also, the spacing between title and text is inconsistent. Maybe it's because an image block doesn't have body text, only Caption and Subtitle? But why?

unique feedback for each answer in multiple choice
I would like to have the ability to select different feedback captions depending on which multiple-choice answer was selected. This will make the feedback caption less generic and provide an opportunity to teach or reinforce during assessments as well.

Revisit button functions on results slides
After the recent Captivate update, buttons on the results page are not behaving as expected. If users get to the page and choose to review their quiz and then get back to the results page, the continue button no longer performs its action. Another thing that I noticed that I hadn't before, if a user fails their quiz it might be helpful to only provide the review button after their final attempt. If users select the review button before they retake the quiz, the retake button disappears on revisit to the results page. On one hand this is good to…

Software Simulation Assessment
Just tested software simulation assessment and the score is not being captured correctly. I had at least a dozen steps and I only got one point for the assessment.

Select multiple question slides and change common properties all at once
In the previous version of Adobe Captivate, we were able to select multiple question slides and change properties common to all the question slides. For example, if I wanted all my question slides to have two tries instead of one, we used to be able to select all the slides and make this change. Now I have to make these changes one by one.

Allow option to retain closed captions when replacing slide audio
I may tweak a small aspect of my slide's audio and upload a new version to the slide. Doing so currently (in 12.4) removes my existing captions, forcing me to redo every caption on that slide.
It would be nice to have a pop-up that asks if I want to retain or delete existing captions when changing the audio file.

Widgets and carousel should have more than 6 items/pages
The current timeline widget, carousel widget, hotspot widget etc. only have up to 6 items/pages. I've been working on projects with a 15 point timeline, or an 8 point hotspot activity, or a 9 page carousel. Which means, I couldn't use these widgets and had to come up with my own custom design, which is very time consuming and more difficult than it needs to be.
Please add the ability to have at least 15, or a custom defined number of items/points/pages in a widget or carousel.

Reset scrolling content to start at the top of the page.
If you have a slide with scrolling content linked to another slide with scrolling content (such as when you click continue at the end of the 1st scrolling slide) for some reason, the next slide starts at the bottom and not the top where it should!
This completely ruins the user experience and flow of content, forcing them to scroll up backwards all the way to the top. NOT GOOD! If this is an internal programing glitch, then it needs to be addressed IMMEDIATELY!! 😬
