Bug: Click to reveal setting not working
When you add a click to reveal and set the setting "Move to the next slide when the widget completes" to on, it never works in the course. I had to add a button to allow the user to continue on in the course. I would also add a "widget complete" variable so I can use logic to determine the status of a widget when I need to add conditions. For example, I only want my "Continue" button to appear when the widget completes, but there is no options to find the status of the widget.

Character Speech Card Shape - Does not adhere to timeline settings.
I am trying to mimic an ongoing conversation between two characters. When I move the character speech card on the timeline to show at a specific point in the audio, the text shows at the correct point, but the speech shape shows the entire time. I tried to get past this by using show/hide settings in bookmarks, but because I am using multiple blocks on the slide and show/hide the content blocks, when I show the block, then hide the speech card, it shows on the slide for a brief moment then hides. Drag and drop with forced navigation option
I design training for a healthcare system clinical competency. Part of this training involves instruction on proper placement of defibrillator pads. Placing defibrillator pads incorrectly can reduce the effectiveness of the shock and potentially lead to harm to the patient. I previously submitted Case ADB-36997462-K9H6, explaining that I had created a drag and drop to simulate the proper pad placement process. We integrated a web link using "url" option as web object source. But the link is not visible in preview and published output.

Make Images Exportable for External Editing
I can't find a way to edit an image from Captivate in Illustrator or Photoshop. I am being handed a Captivate file and not always all of the source files used to create it. It'd be really helpful to have a right click and 'Edit in Photoshop' option for when the graphic file is not available. This function exists in other Adobe products, please add it to the new Captivate.

Reinstate Timing panel for component animation
Using the drag feature on the timeline to stagger entrances is not user-friendly at all. I'd really like to see the same usability we have in Classic, where you select a component and can fine-tune both the timing and animation in the same panel. These functions are linked 90% of the time, so there's no reason why you should have to go to different panels to design animation and component timing.

Play head on timeline always jumps to the right side.
When I want something to appear on the stage and in sync with the audio I use the timeline. However every time I play the time line it jumps to the far right and makes it difficult to see the time and when I want a paragraph to appear on the stage. If the play head is in the middle of the timeline and I press play it should play from the middle of the timeline. But it immediately jumps to the far right and then makes everything difficult to time things on the stage. All other applications I have…

Add A "Set Focus" option to Button Actions
If I do a validation check on a text box when the user clicks a "Continue" button I created, and the validation I have setup fails, I want to set focus back on to my text box, however there is no option to do that.

Course Crashes when pasting formatted text into a text box
I have a lesson on AI that asks the user to paste the results into the text box to verify they completed the task. When a user clicks the "Copy" button at the bottom of ChatGPT and tries to paste that into a Captivate textbox, the course crashes. The text box should only allow "plain text" to paste and remove any formatting - or add a rich text box which would allow for additional formatting to be pasted.

Share for Review
When Reviewing a shared lesson, the comments should have an indicator of where the comment is being made. If the slide has multiple media blocks or text blocks, the indicator will allow the reviewer to pinpoint where their recommendations should be made. The current method works only when commenting on the overall status of the slide, but if only some of the information needs to be corrected, the developer would need to search through all the content to find where the reviewer saw the mistake.

Text formatting is off after importing translated caption and closed caption word file
The import of translated caption and closed caption word file is not helping my purpose, as the font size, color and formatting are going off. Especially if I have a text box with two words in two different font size/style/color.

Drag and Drop - Show the correct answers after last attempt.
At present there is no option to show the correct answers or correct drop areas of the drop boxes. It is not always feasible to show them through text in feedback.

Grouping
I want the ability to group select multiple media blocks to quickly move or cut and paste to a different location. I tend to lose my place when transitioning between slides when cutting content from one slide to the next.

Allow the use of asset audio files on a button click. Currently you can attach a play audio interaction, but you can't select the audio file from the asset library.

Allow users to change the properties of a click box within an interaction. To make a click box accessible, it needs to have a visible focus area (high contrast) to indicate when a keyboard user is on the object. When using buttons, or states, of an object, the states are only visible when using a mouse (states will not show when navigating a course with the keyboard).

Please add Advanced Interaction
I use it to check items included in the quiz and all the URLs. It would be great if there was a window where you could see all the URLs associated with buttons, links, and actions. You could also update the URLs in that window. I spend many hours every year checking and updating URLs in my projects.
If Adobe could have a URL forwarder for Captivate that we could use to maintain URLs outside of the LMS, it would be even better. I know that I can pay for a service like this, but it is cost prohibitive.

Provide a more complete implementation of JavaScript that supports $.post to a php script
In a Captivate 11 project, I have some JavaScript that I use to communicate with a php script on a web server. The php script receives information from the Captivate module via a JavaScript post command, and it subsequently updates a SQL database. This is non-functional in Captivate 12. It appears that the ability to call a post command is blocked or not implemented. Here is my post command in JavaScript (specifics replaced with asterisks).
