Bug - Slides size after software simulation
After creating a few normal slides, when adding larger software simulation slides, the "working area" of the previously designed normal slides has enlarged and is now the size of a software simulation slide, which suggests that the slides need to be adjusted. It would be nice if each view in the "work area" ,represented the size of the slide in the preview, depending on the slide type (normal or software simulation).

Play media from assets
When you add an interaction to a button you can have it "Play Media" but you can only select media from your file explorer, you cannot select anything from assets. Please allow us to select media from assets.

Forced navigation in any button
It would be nice if we could ensure that learners do not skip lessons to complete course and allow learners to navigate to the next slide, page, or content only after they finish interacting with all the sections in a button (not only in widget). I know it's available in widget, but it would be nice to add it to any button.

Ctrl+Z
Ctrl+Z doesn't work in French version. It shows "Save and quit" window, but it doesn't cancel the previous action. We need to clic on Modify Menu and Cancel (Menu Modifier et Annuel").

Missing Visited checkmarks on TOC when relaunching the scorm course on All new Adobe Captivate 12.3
I have uploaded 12.3 captivate course package on scorm 1.2. In success and completion criteria, I have selected Quiz is Passed. When I complete the entire course I am getting 100% on scorm as I have selected All the correct answer.
when we relaunch the course which is half completed previously, it is not showing checked for the previously selected slides in Table of Content. In Classic version, it shows the checked in Table of content for previously visited slides after relaunch the course.
Is this bug of All new Adobe Captivate 12.3 or I have missed some setting for…1 vote -

Question Slide Submit button bug on Scorm
I am testing my course on scorm cloud. In my course Quiz questions are present. All the Quiz slides are built using default Question slides template provided by Adobe Captivate 12.3. When I retake the quiz and close the course while taking the Quiz. Relaunch the course again, it redirects me to the question slide where I left last time. Then I select the option and try to submit the Quiz. The Submit button gets disabled. I am not able to submit my question.

RE: Installation of Captivate 12 ver. 12.3.0
Bug report for Adobe Captivate 12 x64 ver. 12.3.0 installation: I attempted to install Adobe Captivate 12_x64 – Ver 12.3.0, and have been waiting for at least 30 minutes with no progress. (Refer to the screen capture attached). I tried clicking the hyperlink (sign in here) with no success. A new browser page failed to launch further installation instructions. I'm open to suggestions.
Thanks,

The Captivate version 12.3.0.12 will not allow the use of bullet or numbering format. It seems to be a major glitch within the last update.
Fix the bug that happens when you try to use bullets or numbering formats within a Captivate 12.3.0.12 content section.

Allow users to capture camera and record the screen
Seems you can no longer capture a screen as a recording, and it seems that you can no longer have a camera running at the same time

It's easy to get stuck when using quiz slides in Captivate
When setting up question slides, it's easy to get stuck on that slide when users navigate back to a questions slide they already answered. There is no way to proceed.
Add a questoin slide. Turn off the skip options. Turn off the Playbar in quiz. Add any navigation to allow users to go back to the question slide. Preview. Answer the question. Return to the question slide. You are stuck there.
There are many reasons to turn off skip and playbar. But users are now stuck on a question slide they already answered.

Allow users to have more than 6 options on a dropdown.
We are currently limited to 6 options per dropdown. Sometimes we would like to have a 1-10 option or even select from 50 states... This element should allow as many options as needed.

Missing default labels
Localisation of quizzes is now a real pain. Another example: the text 'Select an option' in dropdown lists on matching question slides is missing in default labels. Result: you have to translate manually all those texts on the slides when they are created. See included screenshot.
This label was not available in previous versions neither under Default Labels in Quiz Preferences, but it was sufficient to do the translation on the Matching Master slide. Loss of those master slides has big consequences. Translating a quiz takes me now at least 10 times as long as in Captivate Classic. I don't…1 vote -
Multiple choice Multiple answers: checkboxes please
For a MCQ slides with multiple correct answers, I would expect checkboxes instead of radio buttons. This is a globally accepted way to clarify to the user that multiple answers may be selected. It is contrary to all protocols that this should be chosen.

Status Flags
Allow status flags in the TOC again - it's great for our helpdesk people to troubleshoot users with issues completing modules - they can see if they've skipped anything. Right now flags show the first time through, but disappear after.

Duplicate conditions in interaction
When creating an interaction I often need multiple conditional decisions (only THEN) to cope with different situations. Often those dedicions are similar. Captivate Classic allows to duplicate a decision, and edit it. Example: I want to add an end slide to a quiz which is available in two languages. Multistate objects are used for a character and two texts, and there are 4 possible situations: Pass+language1, Fail+language1, Pass+language2, Fail+language2. That means 4 decisions in the interaction which are very similar. I cannot find out how to duplicate the decisions. Result: I have to do the same workflow 4 times from…

Improve Calibration for Software Simulation - Captivate 12.3
With Captivate 12.3 (Windows 11 laptop), when I prepare to do a software simulation and select Narration and then calibrate, the audio is so quiet, regardless of which microphone I use, that it's inaudible in the project. Suggest you add the ability to manually calibrate, or address this if it's a bug.
