  1. Zooming in should keep focus on selected item

    This is an old pain inherited from previous versions. Default view percentage is 'Best Fit' which is great. But when increasing the percentage to focus on a detail (like a button) I tend to select that item first, and expect by zooming in that the selected item is kept in focus. That used to be the case until version 8 or 9, but was also lost in CP2019. It is very frustrating.

  2. Bug - duplicating a slide with shortcut CTRL+D

    I get an error while duplicationg a slide with several widgets and media objects (just pictures + text and just one short own made quiz, no videos) by pressing CTRL+D on keyboard (Windows OS, Charm Version EN 12.1.0.16).

    Duplicating using mouse right click works.

    It would nice to be able to add an icon to the title and an other one to a paragraph block.

  4. Bug: Linked PDF will be implemented after first publishing

    there is a bug using the action "open URL or File". If I select a PDF from my system and publish the course, everthing is fine and Captivate places the PDF in the output correctly. However when I publish the course again, the file is not included in the dirctory even if no changes have been made to the file.

    So if you want to use the "open URL or File" action, you have to select the file again before each publication.

  5. Add scrolling text boxes

    When my slide layouts are fixed, sometimes my text exceeds what can fit in the defined boundaries. I need to be able to have scrolling text boxes, so the rest of the slide stays static, but I can scroll through the text that is too long for the box.

  6. Confusion with Design Options on Slide vs Blocks

    The design options are confusing, especially since I think there is a lot of mismatch between what appears in the Design Option properties panel for the Slide vs the Block.

    1. Add a new Conversation Slide
    2. Look at the Design Options for that slide. There are four. The first (upper-left) has a green background. The second (upper-right) has the speech cards appear at the very bottom of the images.
    3. Click on the Block itself
    4. Look at the Design Options for the block. There are also four. I suspect the are supposed to completely correspond with the design options for the slide.…

  8. Bug - Cannot submit answers

    When you get to question 2, you cannot submit an answer. If you close the SCORM Cloud window and relaunch it, you can continue. But when you get to question 9, the same thing happens. If I am in my regular LMS, the same thing happens but the only way to continue is to switch to a new browser. I have no idea why…

  9. Ensure that Captivate will still function with iCloud sync of the Documents folder enabled.

    Currently, if Mac users have iCloud sync of their Documents folder enabled, Captivate will not function properly. In particular, insertion of image blocks will fail with a message of “Something went wrong with content block insertion.” Users should not have to disable iCloud for Captivate to function.

  10. email hyperlink

    When I enter an email to hyperlink, it adds https:// to it and when the auto-filled email pops up when clicked, it won't send due to it being the wrong address. Not sure if this is user error on my part but I have tried everything to get this to work as well as the webpage links.

  11. layout change request - mobile view

    On mobile the widget slider layout does not look user friendly. Navigational buttons should not appear left/right. Because there is no margin/padding Setting, there is no room left for customizing.

  12. Captivate closing shortcut key change

    why does ctrl + w close the project without saving in Captivate?? this is very useless and frustrating, especially when w is next to s on the keyboard, so I accidentally press w sometimes and lose progress!

  13. Variable

    For a multiple choice, in the interactions panel, when we use variables on selection, the + operation trigger when we change selection and not when ithe question is submitted. No options of selections are avaible in the submit button.

  14. Bug: "include in quiz" function does not send any points to LMS

    By unsing the "include in quiz" function with 1 point and setting export reporting to LMS to Quiz does not trigger any event in LMS. I noticed the setting "points for quiz" cannot be set to a number of points, just can be switched from points to percent.

    It would be great to duplicate save button status while changing buttons.

  16. Vimeo video and caption controls not available.

    Embedded video from Vimeo using the video object has no controls. I'd rather not enforce the user to have to sit through the whole video again when returning to a slide to make a different choice. I'd also like them to have the option see the captions already uploaded and managed in Vimeo.

  17. Trigger actions for objects on other slides

    I'm writing a conditional advanced interaction where I would be required to Show or hide a paragraph block on another slide depending on the value of a variable. I cannot reference this paragraph block because it's on another slide. This limitation means writing twice as many advanced interactions

  18. Classic: Multi SCO Packager Classic not launching from menu

    Lauching the packager from File, New Project is not functional.
    However when finding the packager using All apps (Win11) and starting it with the shortcut key will show the Template choice.

  19. add separate accessibility options for links when more than one link is used in the same block of text

    when you create a text block each block of text has its own accessibility options.
    but within each text block you can add more than one link.

    can we make it so that each link has its own accessibility option.

  20. Slide Enter triggers will not let you navigate to next slide (or previous slide)

    I wanted to set a timer on a slide, so that it navigates to the next slide after a period of time. However, the Go to Next Slide (and Go to slide) are disabled for the Slide Enter triggers
